the only anime i've ever seen that i can really call "horror" is higurashi no naku koro ni. because its actually scary/unnerving. dont think any other anime has pulled that off for me

Just thought I would update all of you. I'm about to try out higurashi no naku koro ni. From what I have read, it seems to be very unique. I loved Gantz, I'm hoping to find something along the lines of that.

For anyone who loved Death Note specifically and is looking for more of a dark undertone, definately would reccomend Elfen Lied. Similar evil premise and style.

I would recommend you Blood: The Last Vampire and also recommend you to watch one piece episode. Action series.
