I am also annoyed by those who think they can learn Japanese just by only watching anime.
You know what I find funny is a few Japanese/anime&manga otaku enthusiast, stupid filter, except japan to be a certain way, but are going to be in for disappointed surprise on their visit.
Their racist assumptions and disregard for the countries culture and manners is going to get them ugly looks and bodily harm.

Eris hasn't really left. She decided to take a break from AF, but she realized a loophole in her logic: Chat doesn't fall under the "forum" of "AnimeForum". As such, she's been in chat quite frequently since she "let".
And I think the reason so many english-speaking people like to watched it japanese-with-subtitles is because they aren't familiar enough with hearing the language to actually be able to tell whether the voiceactors are good or bad, like they can with english. Well..that, and they're anime fans.
Funny thing about Twilight-haters is that they've never actually read anything from it, most have only read the comments others make about it. I think you should at least try to read it before bashing the hell out of it. I got two chapters in, I've earned the right.
