Cracking eggs...

Hello hi!

Can you crack an egg? do u use both hands or one?
I know it sounds really stupid but I cant crack an egg XD
perhaps cuz I dont eat eggs since I'm allergic to them...

I was under the impression that hir glares produced high frequency waves that 'sploded the heads of beawoos.

What kind of eggs are we dealing with? Roc eggs are known to have a teflon coating.

Nothing really fancy about it, because I usually look stupid doing it. It's necessary to learn to use one hand though, because you check out the other food while the other hand is cracking the egg.

I use one hand while cracking eggs. I consider my scrambled eggs and egg sandwich to be my greatest cooking strength. I do have a technique too! Take egg in one hand. Find bowl or counter or hard surface to crack on. here is the tricky part, take the egg and slightly but firmly rub the sid eof the egg that you are going to crack along the edge of the surface you will use. Then after about 10 seconds of rubbing very quickly and firmly crack egg on hard surface. From my experience the egg cracks nicely and splits right in two. making it easier to handle. Also excess shells in food do not occur.

I have a little sister on the other hand who is not a master at cracking eggs. Heres her strategy. Take one egg. Find surface. SSSSMMMAAASSSHHH!!!!!!.. Egg done.

I crack an egg with both hands using utensils ranging from a small fork to a big spatula. But I usually crack one at the edge of a frying pan with one hand only. I love having eggs for breakfast and I've become quite a pro at it, I'd say.

When cracking an egg, use one hand.. and ALWAYS hit a flat surface. If you crack it on the side of the bowl you risk driving shell up into the egg.

I'm embarrassed to say that I make the best scrambled eggs but I can't crack them with one hand. I tried before but it just became a mess.

I can crack them with one hand, but I'm always afraid that part of the shell will break off and I won't notice, so I normally use two hands
