As far as a "type" of site goes, I don't really have one. AF is my favorite site. Gaia and Neopets are pretty fun. CNET gas been helpful to me.

ummm i think any site where you can talk with other people and you can share things like a blog or pictures or videos, texts, poetry, stories, or just talk about many different things

I spend most of my interactive net time on forums like this one, and a couple others. Same basic setup though.
Otherwise, I'm on youtube or myspace surfing new music.
Hulu doesn't count, because all I have to do is sit back and enjoy. Maybe click here and there to let the buffer build up because my wireless sucks.
