invisible adds

hi, im PLAGUED with invislbe ads and i dont udnerstand why, ive tried my usual opera, IE and firefox and all of them have invisible ad hot links through thread posts, if i accidentally click a blank space im often linked to an ad. is this deliberate or is it bugged, because im getting quite sick of it, i middle click to scroll and im constantly havening to check the cursor symbol. whats up?

This isn't a site problem.

I've had the same thing happen on an older computer. It's a spyware/malware issue. Try running some clean-up programs on your computer.

i run them weekly and last scan found nothing (been happening for about 3 weeks), the ads are the same ones at the top and bottom of the page (current ads, not just from the same pool), i dont think thats just coinsidence o.O

I have one option for you but you might not like it, back up all your things you want to keep and format, and then start from scratch and see if it gives you the same problems

i aint gonna do an entire harddrive format when this specific forum is the only one i have this specific issue with.........there isnt a single bit of logic hiding anywhere in that solution sorry.

well you can always try ctrl F5, it should work and if it doesn't sorry I don't have any other advice for you

Have you tried visiting the forum from another computer? If you're the only one it is happening to, and we only use google ads on the forum, who wouldn't do that sort of thing, then the problem isn't on the forum end.

well......that'd be the only thing i havent tried on the logic side of the coin. ill give it a shot next time im out of the house.......should be within the next 6 months. ^^
