Just letting people know I'm still here.
In fact I'm still on each day, proberly will be even on christmas day.
Just waiting for next day in roleplay before I post again.

I'll be busy all Christmas break, which is until January 4th...might be able to slip a little post in there before everything starts to tip on me and bury me in stress.

For the first week I have a trip to go on, and for the second I'll be busy cramming for finals which are right after break ends. (And everybody knows how that feels.)

I'm really sorry if this inconveniences anyone...Merry Christmas and have a safe and happy New Year everyone!

A Very Merry Christmas (kinda)
Starring: Talli, Vidar, Seda, Jiminy, Marcelo & Id

*The setting is a stage with bright red curtains and Christmas lights all around it, Talli emerges from the right wings and walks to the middle of the stage, holding a microphone*

Talli: *clears throat* Ahem. Hello, Nightmare Hunt! I hope everyone's having a very good holiday season thus far. Since my characters couldn't join in the RP-ing fun this time around, we have decided to bring you a simple yet heartfelt Christmas presentation. *smiles and bows* Take it away, you guys! *runs off to the opposite side and disappears behind the curtain*

*Music begins playing, an instrumental version of "Silent Night". Vidar slithers out from the right side of the stage, wearing a Santa beard and a Santa hat*

Vidar: *nods at the audience and looks at the note he's carrying with his tail, puts on a monocle* Hiss. Hiss hiss. Hisss his-his. Hiss hiss. Hissssss! His-his-his. Hiss. Hisss. Hissssssss. *smiles and bares fangs* (Translation: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We, the characters of Talli, offer you a musical interlude this holiday season.)

Seda: *voice coming from the right side of the stage* No, don't even think about it!

Vidar: *rolls eyes* Hiss. Hiss.

Seda: *pushed onstage by stage hands* Whoa! *turns and looks angrily at them* You guys are gonna... *trails off and stares at the audience*

*Seda is wearing a Santa's Helper outfit just like the girls in Mean Girls (click for the picture XD). She narrows her eyes at Vidar and grumbles as she walks to the middle of the stage to join him. She tugs at a very long leash she is holding*

Seda: *glares at her snake* If you people expect me to dance to--

*Music begins playing, "Jingle Bell Rock"*

Vidar: *cheeky smile*

Seda: ... Why do you people do this to me?!

Vidar: Hiss. Hisss. Hiss-hiss. Hiss. (Translation: You're the only girl here. I believe you're the only one who can actually pull this off.)

Seda: ... *narrows eyes* *grumbling* If this is what it takes to my bike back...

*Seda begins dancing, mimicking to steps performed by the girls from Mean Girls, all the while with a frown on her face. As the dance continues, Seda begins to smile a little and put more feeling in her steps. At the end of the dance, her frown has turned into a happy (but just a little devious) kind of grin.*

Audience: *applause*

Seda: *chuckles and bows* Thank you, thank you! I'll be here... Tonight. And ONLY tonight! *turns to the right side of the stage* JUAREZ! You're up!

Marcelo: But... I... I really don't think... My outfit...

Seda: *rolls eyes* Trust me, you look fine. If I had to dress in THIS outfit. *motions to the short skirt that she's wearing* I'm sure yours is better.

*Jiminy trots out from the right side, dressed as an elf, complete with little green elf hat on his head. He walks over to Seda and sits down.*

Seda: Oh, hey Jim. *bends down to pick him up* If this leash isn't yours... *looks at the leash in her hand* Then... Who... *gives it a good hard tug*

Marcelo: WHOA!

*Marcelo stumbles on stage from behind the curtain and the air immediately fills with shrieks and squeals from the female members of the audience. He is wearing brown pants, boots, reindeer antlers and a collar with a leash that Seda is holding. And no shirt.*

Seda: *cackling* Twisted sense of humour! Hahaha!

Marcelo: *turns red and gets up to wave at the audience*

Female audience members: *squealing*

Marcelo: Er... For the record, I... I didn't pick this outfit out. *claps hands* C'mon, Jim!

Jiminy: *jumps out of Seda's arms and takes his place next to Marcelo*

*Music begins to play, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"*

Marcelo: *flashes a bright smile at the audience* You know Dasher and Dancer, and Prancer and Vixen... Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen... But do you recall... The most famous reindeer of all...

Jiminy: Bark bark!

*The pair begin a cutesy little dance to the song, with Jiminy doing stunts along with Marcelo such as running up his owner's back and doing backflips. Marcelo does a few dance moves in front of everyone, pulling some moves from various pop artists. He finishes with a Moonwalk along with Jiminy before stopping and turning to the audience with a wink. More squealing ensues.*

Marcelo: *smiles and walks over to join Seda and Vidar with Jiminy following him*

Seda: *snickering* Nice costume, Marcelo.

Marcelo: ... Well, at least I'm not Santa's Helper. *wiggles eyebrows*

Seda: *sticks her tongue out at him* Y'know what they say: Save a sleigh, ride a rein--

Marcelo: *cutting her off* SEDA! PG-13! *scandalized look*

Seda: *snickers* Hey, where's that kid who's always with you?

Marcelo: You mean Id? *scratches head* Dunno. Last I heard, he was getting his costume on.

Talli: *voice coming from backstage* C'mon, Id! It's CUTE!

Id: *voice also coming from backstage* GET AWAY FROM ME, WOMAN! I am a demon that can sway people into doing things they should not! I DO NOT WANT TO LOOK CUTE!

*various crashing noises are heard*

Everyone on stage: ...

Seda: *claps hands once* Okay, moving on. We figured we'd thank and say hi to everyone we've met, as well as wishing them a very merry Christmas. *smiles*

Vidar: *adjusts monocle* *begins a series of hisses and Seda nods along* (Translation: Thank you to my fellow Nightmares that I have met. To the Nightmares of the Guardians, you are all very powerful. And to Skitters, you look very squishy. Gray, I hope we meet on better terms next time. And to King, I owe you a game of Blackjack. Thank you.)

Seda: *steps forward and pulls out a piece of paper* Ahem. To my fellow Guardians and the Watchers, thanks for making my few days there interesting. Looking forward to someday seeing you guys. To Karn, we should go out drinking again. Piers, I have GOT to meet this lady friend of yours. Ikazuchi, haven't actually met you so looking forward to finally doing so. Chinatsu, take care of yourself, girl. We'll continue the girl talk when I get back. Melissa, good luck with those visions and take a breather once in a while. And to Duo, you need to teach me your workout regimen. Sorry about the apple.

Marcelo: *steps forward* Er... I guess my boss won't be listening to this. So I guess I'll just say hi to the kid I picked up at the park and brought to the hospital. I hope you're doing okay and get well soon.

*All of them step forward as a giant sign is lowered behind them. The sign reads "Merry Christmas!" in bright, lighted neon letters. The group smiles and waves at everyone*

All: Merry Christmas, everyone!
*Curtain closes*

Third, Valk, Sols, and all the others who haven't given up on the RP, thank you so much for sticking by the RP this long. You guys have made this RP to the best it could possibly be. This means more to me than I could say. ^^

Fourth, TALLI! That was EPIC!! This almost feels like a "Nightmare Hunt: Christmas Special" HAHAHA.

A Birthday/Holiday Special
Starring: Sols, Aiden and Theo

*The place is a confusing mess after Talli’s presentation. Techies dressed as Santa’s elves are sweeping the stage floor. Then all goes dark. Spotlight turns on Sols, dressed in a Santa’s helper outfit like Seda. Theo is beside her in his hoodie jacket, hands in his pockets, glaring at the audience.*

Sols: Good evening all! Happy Holidays! Might I say that Talli convinced me to put this together and her ways are not all painless… *shudders involuntarily* But it was also my birthday, so I shall present you all with a dance number featuring Aiden Hayes and his Nightmare, Theo!

Theo: *snickers* Hey Sols. Nice dress. Did you have to maul a Santa’s helper for that?

Sols: Har har. Oh that’s right, Theo! Aiden isn’t supposed to see your ugly mug, isn’t he? *Happily takes out a Santa mask*

Theo: Of all the stupid masks to get…! I can just do this! *puts hand on face, turns it to a solid metal mask, like a the front part of a knight’s helmet*

Sols: It’s got to be festive, Theo. Festive. Now hold still- *puts mask on Theo* There. Not so bad. Could you at least try to be festive?

Theo: *with Santa Clause mask* Ho. Ho. Ho. Are you happy now?

Sols: ... no. You'll have to do better later. Anyway, let’s bring out the young man of tonight’s show, Aiden Hayes!

*Aiden walks out from stage left, smiling shyly. He stands next to Sols.*

Aiden: Hiya, Sols. And… *looks at Theo, who is wearing a Santa Mask* who are you?

Theo: … Santa Claus.

Aiden: But I thought Santa Claus was fatter?

Theo: … you misheard me. I said - *a loud SHING- he takes out hands, his fingers become metallic and sharp into talon-like points* SANTA CLAWS.

Aiden: Uwah! *steps back a mile*

Sols: *crosses arms* Theo, you don’t like cats right? If you don’t behave, I’ll sic little kittens on you.

Theo: *makes a muffled noise, turns hands back to normal, hides them in his pockets*

Aiden: *grins up at Theo* I think you’re scary, but if you’re scared of cats, you can’t be too scary, right? *childish laughter*

Theo: ... *solemnly* Kid, I'm no scarier than what your mom is hiding in the back of the fridge.

Aiden: *gasp* How did you know about Mr. Jingles?!

Sols: *gives thumbs up to SFX room. Same female figure gives thumbs up. Haruhi Suzumiya’s plays. (link is a video)*

Aiden: Ah! I love this dance! But we don’t have enough people to dance with.

Sols: Not to worry. *raises hand. Three techies come on stage, two dressed in reindeer outfit, one in Santa’s helper outfit. Aiden happily takes role of lead dancer.*

Theo: You’re a sadist! *turns around, pushes one techie aside, and walks off stage*

Sols: Theo. Meow.

Theo: *hurries back into place*

*Song starts. Aiden happily dances, bouncing all over the stage. (Picture Aiden as the short brown-haired girl and Theo as the long-haired one, but with a pissed-off expression on his face.) At one point Theo stops and just stands still with a face palm. There is a loud ‘Meow’ from Sols’ direction and he starts dancing again. The Techies faithfully do their enthusiastic dancing. Aiden finishes with a twirl and a point. Theo and the other techies finish by kneeling with arms outstretched.*

Theo: *gets up, throwing hands into air in exasperation* Humans! Can’t live with them, can’t live without them.

Sols: You make me so proud! It’s like watching my children dance.

Theo: … I feel sorry for the kids. *Sols hurls a shoe at Theo and hits him on the head*

Theo: OW! You... you insufferable woman! I may not be human but I have my rights!

Aiden: *by rule of Human-Nightmare transference* Ow! My head… what?! How did that happen?

Sols: *gasps* oh sorry! *rushes to Aiden’s side and hugs him, patting his head. She shoots a look at Theo.* Bad Nightmare! And you know what? You're the bad guy. No one cares about your rights.

Theo: ... well, that's just wonderful.

Aiden: *is rubbing the back of his head* Um, Sols? Why are you calling him a Nightmare?

Sols: Nothing. Ahem. *takes up mike* And we shall close this presentation with thank you’s! *gives mike to Aiden*

Aiden: Ahem. *grins* I’d like to thank Marcelo Juarez who brought me to the hospital. And the paedophile in the park, er… don’t hurt kids, okay? It’s not nice. Miss Viera, you have a great smile! You've got something to say, er... Theo, right?

Theo: *takes mike from Aiden* Yeah, the pedo. Great guy. Should’ve made friends with him.

Aiden: Huh?! How'd you know about-?

Theo: Anyway, thanks to Meril and Rod for helping me after that busted bike. And to Harue… *smiles* I want to see you again.

Sols: *takes mike from Theo* Kitties, you may maul the creepy Nightmare.

*There is a rumbling sound. White kitties from the right side of the stage stampede in. Theo runs offstage, screaming bloody murder, cats chasing after him.*

Sols: To everyone, Happy Holidays! Have a great evening. *bows*
*curtain closes*

What can I say? RP-ing is truly a magnificent experience. Spending time (and even welcoming the new year) in a virtual reality of anonymous usernames while telling each other stories around a digital bonfire is absolutely whimsical! Roleplay, my friends, is the human culture in step-up. Thank you everyone! I wish you all a great year ahead!
