Deadlines and plans

Some of you may not be old enough to answer this question, but do your best!

Do you plan things in life? Like, plan ahead. Set goals and timeframes for achieving those goals?

I have one. I'm at the next step in my employment, I have to go drive the armored truck tomorrow. I just wish they'd let me start my licensing so I could get some money coming in. I feel like a bum without a job. Anyway, I don't know if I can do it on the 1800 a month I'll take home from this job, but I sure can get the ball rolling. Living is pretty cheap here, if you know what to do.

By Christmas 2010, I plan to drive away from a lot in a 2010 Camaro. It will probably be gently used. It will probably be the V6 one, because that has 300hp and honestly, that's enough. I hope my car survives. I probably won't trade it in, because it's worthless. I may keep it as an emergency car, I may do terrible things to it and make it a little truck so I can haul stuff. That sounds like a good plan! Cheaper than getting a truck AND a Camaro! The Camaro isn't an absolute, there's a godlike version of the Ford Fusion that I really like as well. They're close in price when they're new, so it's a toss up for now.

Anyway...in addition to all that, I plan to have a nice place to live. I have found nice apartments in a good area, for reasonable rent. I would rather pay that money each month to own a house, even if I have to fix it up. Because if I go far out enough, my house will appreciate as the city expands, and when I've made it nice, I can sell it for a lot of money and do it all over again.

These things must take precedence over gun collections and martial arts, though I want to go back to TKD and earn my black belt. I was so close before...

I must do this now. If I am to make a fortune, even a modest one so that I may live comfortably, retire well, travel a bit, and eventually send a child to college, I must start now. There can be no more procrastination. And I want to get that Camaro to pick up chicks before I become that creepy old guy at the car shows.

I should pull a Stalin and make this my five year plan. But then I'll be 30 and that's too old!

I've got a lot of plans.

Let's see I'm still studying for Bachelor Degree (Bachelor of Arts in Theology Major in Missions, to those who care). About to enter my Junior year this coming school year. So yay for that right? After I finish my studies, I plan to work full time for at least a year, to earn some money to get into another University to work on my Masters Degree (again to those who care, that would Masters in Anthropology).

Well that's all my plans for now.

Unless you ask me of my wedding plans, because dude, I can list everything to the number of bridesmaids to the color of the flowers.

Well, by 2015, I'll probably have enough to get a decent enough house, so I'll be looking forward to your future thread.

Deadlines are more like suggestions than real rules.

I don't usually make plans in advance, simply because when I do they all fall apart anyway. When it comes to deadlines, though, I'll push those back as far as I can because I hate working under a tight schedule (even though I'll pressure myself into getting done really early anyway).

The deadlines can certainly be flexible. If I can't afford the Camaro, or need more down on the property because the bubble has already burst, then I'm happy to move the deadline.

I use it as a way to discipline myself. Once I get my second paycheck, I could go and buy and finance that car the next day. Doing so would be foolish and thwart my plan to own property.

I look at checking vs savings in a weird way too - I have to separate things and plan things because I'm terrible at budgeting.

I'm still fairly young, but I still plan ahead alot. I have my last year of High School coming up planned. I also have all my college after that up to my PhD planned. I hope to achieve it all while I'm still fairly young.

I get annoyed whenever a 5-page paper is supposed to be done in one day. Although, in summer classes, that's how it is. That's actually what I'm supposed to be doing right now. >.<

Right now, and when I get older, I'm letting my life just keep going forwards on it's own. I don't make plans for I don't get depressed or upset if they don't happen. I just rather take the good opportunities, and avoid the bad ones.

The very mention of the word deadline puts me off doing anything it sounds like too much hard work, id rather just do nothing and wait and see how things turn out so far nothing bad has happened, as for my plan its simple: do nothing.

I think if i set my life out too much and i dont get what or where i want to then i'l be dissapointed and have regret and i dont want that!!! So i just take everyday as it comes
