Terminator Salvation (aka T4)

Coming out this Thursday. Anyone else excited about this movie? Terminator 2 is one of my favorite movies and even though its not directed by James Cameron, and I have no clue who this McG guy is, I have a feeling this'll be good. The trailer was amazing and I love the story around the character Marcus Wright. Sure I'm a little sad Arnie won't be in this but I'm willing to give Sam Worthington a chance. They're both buff and have accents.

I'm not sure if I'll see it or not. My mother would like to, and I usually take her to a movie twice a month or so, so we may. I'm just not sure of going alone or with my fiance, however.

As someone who is an obsessive Terminator fan .. I have little choice but to go and see it.

I will forgive the Terminator franchise for T3 if Salvation turns out to be good....And after the greatness that was the Sarah Connor Chronicles, it damn well better be.

i might watch it if my friends wanna go see it, but honestly, to me, terminator = arnold and if arnold is not there, its not the same, thats how i feel, so im not really excited about this movie.

Is it true that theres gonna be a 5th one with arnold?

I highly doubt it. As much as I like Arnie, he's not the same as he was 10 years ago. He's now involved in this politics mumbo jumbo.

I'm not too antsy to see it. Was VERY disappointed with the third one so I'm not expecting much from Salvation.

Yeah, still gonna see it in spite the over-hype (that with the names TERMINATOR and CHRISTIAN BALE attached). I'm not gonna expect anything, since if I expect something, it's gonna be a lot (owing to the hype).

Ok so it came out today. I WAS planning to watch the midnight show but I promised my friends that I would watch it with them this Saturday when they come back from school. I've heard great reviews on it so far (much better than I have ever expected). Anyone hear anything negative?

My parents went out last night to see Angels and Demons (one of the few at the screening, hah). There were AMAZED at how many people were camped in the mall, waiting for the theater to start seating for T4.

I wasn't so impressed, since I expected it and have seen it for other movies, but, still.

I saw the Terminator movie. I wasn't at all impressed. I am tired of Christian Bale being in like every movie these days. But despite that the movie was okay. It wasn't good and wasn't bad. They got every chance to explode something and that was quite annoying. I hated how the overall movie was dark and danky and when the explosion came on you're like too bright.

I saw the Terminator movie. I wasn't at all impressed. I am tired of Christian Bale being in like every movie these days. But despite that the movie was okay. It wasn't good and wasn't bad. They got every chance to explode something and that was quite annoying. I hated how the overall movie was dark and danky and when the explosion came on you're like too bright.

I saw it during memorial day weekend and I thought it was good. I wasn't expecting too much because the director seems to be sort of new in the movie business. I like the dark environment because its after judgement day, its a dark time where humans are fighting a war that doesn't seem to ever move towards their favor. The effects were good but some scenes you can tell theres green screen when Marcus is walking around in LA. Another thing I thought was nice was how some of the famous dialogues were used again and also some action scenes were loosely based off of scenes from T1 and T2. The big surprise at the last 30 minutes was very nice .

The thing I didn't like the most was the editing. There are a fair amount of scenes that faded out in an odd way. Some were transitioned at the wrong time. I couldn't help but laugh when Common was in it. "It's beautiful"

Not really a fan of Terminator but my brother really wants to see it, and I've always loved Christian Bale ever since Equilibrium. Hmmm, should I or should I not go with my brother??

I can understand that and they did good on that. But I am talking about the explosions. They were way to bright for such a dark movie. It basically was like my eyes oh my god my eyes. It was okay it wasn't good movie. Not as good as Star Trek. I was hoping for more.

No ending that brings closure. *sigh*, what did I expect. I think it was by far the worst one. I saw it due to the fact that I'm a completionist.
