First Impressions of The Winter Season...

Starry Sky: What? The main character is the only girl to enroll at an all-boys school. Go on. And the 12 constellations of the Zodiac are personified into handsome young men, you say. Please tell me more. And each episode is only 11 minutes long. Oh yeah! This is easily a candidate for Top 10 anime I will not be watching this year.

Rio Rainbow Gate: Obvious fanservice is obvious.

Kimi ni Todoke S2: Haha. No thanks.

Mahou Shouja Madoka Magica: The background designs were reminiscent of Bakemonogatari and the trippy image sequence was so SHAFT, I wasn't even surprised. It was more like wow, why didn't I see that coming? Never thought I would be interested in watching a magical girl show. Damn you, Shinbo.

Mitsudomoe S2: Never watched the first season, but the curry guy was gachi awesome. I'd still rather watch another season of Sunred though.

Beelzebub: Could've done without the overkill shock therapy but the rest of it was kinda funny. Not sure if I'm gonna actually pick this up though cause it's supposed to run for at least 50 episodes.

Yumekui Merry: Aside from how the main character initially meets up with Merry Nightmare and the horribly integrated CGI, I liked it.

Freezing: I see your Highschool of the Dead fanservice and raise you Freezing. Still within the range of likeable until the last minute or so. WTH yo.

IS - Infinite Stratos: Haremfest 2011.

Onii-Chan no Koto Nakan Zenzen Janain Dakara Ne!!: INCEST...in MY anime!? Oh wait, it's not really incest cause they're not blood related. What a twist! Nevermind, it's back to being incest again. And is that a love triangle I smell? I'm almost tempted to watch this just to see how bad it actually turns out to be.

Also, an excerpt from someone else's first impressions...

The adaption from novel to anime from this first episode has only shown me how kakkoi it'll be and that it'll be the most sugoi series of the season, and possibly year. (tl note: kakkoi means cool and sugoi means amazing)

Fractale: Looks very Ghibli and interesting enough to keep me watching.

Hourou Musuko: The animation feels so lively and I don't really mind the crossdressing aspect of it. I'd like to see how they handle this topic and hopefully, the ending won't feel as rushed as Kuragehime.

im in the middle of multiples,i just finished tokyo mew mew, im wachng saikano, spice and wolf season 2, shugo chara!, kanaziko no miko (i think thats how its spelled), shiki, memaid forest, chobits, Magical DoReMi, etc. there are stll many animei havent seen that i plan on seeing such as mermaid melody, kanon, Kamichama Karin and many more. like i just found out that there is a second season of strike witches. im a little of an anime freak. my name on here is because of vampire knight which gets really creepy after chapter 60. it was creepy to begin with but.... what a plot twist!
