And here's a colored version of the mermaid one. It turned out a bit messy looking....

Pretty good. I reccomend mapping out your character a little more before you draw them. It works for me.

Very good, Nariel. I especially like the mermaid illustration because i've always loved mermaids.

I like her scales and the different shades of blue in her tail! The black water drops looked a bit messy for me, but it did add texture to the illustration! ^_^

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I also found the mermaid a bit messy. I'll have some new up soon, I haven't scanned any of my latest.
