Favorite Animated Feature Film?

We all have a favorite animated feature film that we loved as a kid and now as adults.

What do you consider your favorite animated film.

Is it the story that relives your childhood or is it just written well?

The animation syle and concept character design that draws you attention?

The color usage or the various color intergate and help the visuals flow?

Who is your favorite director or animators that help bring your favorite movies to life?

I guess I like quite a bit but my fave is the lion King if you mean that kind of film otherwise I don't have a favorite cuz I don't watch a lot of movies

"Sleeping Beauty" is my all-time favorite.

As I got older, I saw "Perfect Blue", and I like that one as well.

Unless you mean non-animu, in which case I'll go with The Hobbit. Unlike every Disney film ever, it holds up to repeated viewings.

I was going to link Riki Tiki Tavi since that's the first one that popped into my mind, but I saw the Hobbit link and posted that.

The only thing I didn't care too much about in the Hobbit was all the music.

I enjoyed Anastasia immensely. Then again, it's the only thing immediately coming to mind at the moment.

As far as anime goes, I'd have to say that I don't know. I haven't watched many anime movies, and none recently.

Oh my gosh, my brain just exploded a little. I'd forgotten all about Riki Tiki Tavi. Whenever I read the words, my brain was like "That sounds familiar ... *BOOM*" And it all rushed back in. Wow, I'd love to see it again sometime, just for nostalgia.

Sure, it counts! That's a good movie, I just got burnt out on it from seeing it so much when I worked at a daycare - we had all of three movies that worked on VHS and that was the kids' particular favorite.

the first anime movie i ever seen was in 86 ; nausicaa (back then it was called "warriors of the wind") it remains to be my favorite animated feature film, with akira and/or gits as a close second

I will go with the Shreck movies. They are pretty funny. And Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a good movie. I had forgotten all about it.

The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen and Monty Python Holy Grail. They're kinda animated.
Oh and yes the Hobbit was a great Disney movie.

Is that the one that's crazy-surreal? That's one of the few movies that freaks me out in the brain. xD

As for features, a lot of Disney movies are on my list, then as I got older there was "Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture" and "Princess Mononoke", and the list can go on.
