If you could solve one issue in the world (or, your country), what would it be?

So, if you had the ultimate power of solving one issue, whether it be a major one or an unknown one, in the world or your country or your society, what would it be?




Well, if I could really solve one issue in the world, it would be to solve the trade of weapons among nations or individuals. And, when I meant trade of weapons, I meant the whole business of weapons, whether it be a legal one among nations or an illegal one among mafia and gangsters. These weapons have caused a heck lot of trouble and conflict around the world. It's these small weapons, not big missiles or nukes, that have caused many bloody massacres and crimes around the world, and have caused havoc in the under-developed societies to the big and welll-developed nations. So, if I could, I want to put an end to this availability of weapons in the streets, and in the hands of tyrants and arrogant dictators.

My country is currently in recession, with much thanks to a very unpopular individual! So it would be stupid not to say that I would like that issue to be resolved.

But......there is also the issue concerning my eraser which has vanished. I would like to know where that has got to.

I'd probably want to improve healthcare. Drastically. Maybe it's just my experince, but healthcare in this country sucks and blows at the same time.

It seems only the wealthy can afford decent care, and the rest get the "leftovers", along with the lazy, incompetent doctors who do not care about their patients.

But maybe that's just because my insurance isn't that great.

them how meaningless it is to go on depending on the almighty dollar bill.
It would be more nice for us all if money weren't important, but if knowledge were.

To those saying to get rid of things such as power lust (i think thats the proper word usage? dont know) envy, greed, and such, if you have even the slightest believe we will get rid of them.. your wishing needs to turn in anohter direction :P. Itll be a long while before we get rid of even 50% of one of those.

Now, to threads topic, i would use that power to give me the position of Supreme World Leader, with the capability of backing up my position. I would work to make sure the Earth would never disunify so that conflict would end.

I'd want to solve Europe's solution for the global financial crisis.. I see this recession and financial crisis as a test for the EU and its method of integration.. so if it succeeds, it sets an example of what should become a "World Union." ^^
