Need someone to identify this anime

This has been bugging me for some time. I used to have a giant and lovely picture that i could provide, but I accidentally saved over it with this pitiful avatar size. So, if someone with a good eye and knowledge of anime could narrow it down, that be great.



The gun she has it's quite long, looks like a sniper rifle. And she's in some type of military/school type japanese uniform. I figured if any group of people could figure it out, it be you guys.

It's not from an anime. Looking at the quality alone shows it's probably just stand alone artwork.

If that's from a show or a movie, I'd be interested in a title too. I've seen that image somewhere before here, though. I know it's not part of anything I've watched, though.
