Soldier Fist versus mind A hole in the wall I wish I left you behind My thoughts in a pitfall The bandages wrapped around my fist Blood dripping on the ground My life dissapearing in this mist Crippled by this wound I thought I knew you I went as far as I could stand Did not go deeper thought I had a breaktrough But all I broke trough was this wall by my hand Every lover is a soldier Where are my handgrenades Fighting a lost war I'm a lover Slashing with these blades I've lost my way I've lost it all I set my heart for display Just for you can't you hear me call Everyones sees the effect But no one sees the cause Everyone sees me wrecked I'm like a broken vase Was waiting for you to pick up the pieces To pick me up and restore me But it all passes Right before your eyes cause you won't see Drowning in darkness Where hope is dead And desire remains I want your kiss Tired of all this bloodshed It's time to retire from my duty It's time to put my weapons away It's time to act wisely It's time to stop today
