I was going to work on that image, now i guess i gotta do another one. *mumble*
Now that that's out the way, the background only fits the foreground about %50. There's nothing to tie the two pieces together, and the black outline can barely be seen on the black background. You can also try smoothing out the ninja girl.
As a side note: If you could find some traditional japanese buildings to put in the background, it would tight.

ya know, when i came to the forum and saw this thread title I thought "hey, I should make another RO wallpaper... a female 'sin to celebrate my new 'sin (got on saturday! woot)"
The major issue I have with it is that she is floating in mid air.

As onslaught2029 said, change the bg!
seems like i always have problems with floating ... how can i make it not look floating ? and the bg ? change completly oradd a building or somethign ?

to stop the floating, just add a shadow! What i do is make a black oval under the character and blur it out a bit. add more if there are other things that may need a shadow (tail, arm, etc), but I've found a very blurry oval works pretty well.

The cutout could be a little cleaner, but thats a minor detail. The redone wall is really good. I like the building.

The second Version is alot better, I looks great. Cleaned up it should be steller.

Much better, but to me seems a bit monotone (i mean the bg). Try to add some lighting effects (a glow around the moon).
everything in the bg is effect ... stars night moon darkness ... i dont think there should be more specials ...
