This got me thinking, how often do you recycle T-shirts and other laundry? Like, wear them again without washing them.

I mean, clearly you don't want to spread your OB to the dismay of your environment, but still, is it really that bad to wear a T-shirt that barely smells... like a day or two more? Especially in the winter when you don't sweat a lot.

Only noobs wash their shirts and jeans after only wearing it once. (unless something spilled on it or the shirt reaks of BO.)


I'll wear my shirts a few times usually, as long as it still looks clean and smells fresh, then no need to wash it. I only wash my jeans when they start feeling too lose or start getting dirty.


Also, I have a lot of shirts made of delicate material, the more you wash them the more they get worn down. (That's another reason I wait as long as I can)

I don't think it's wrong. Some days, when my clothes aren't rank I don't change clothes. Some days I just feel too lazy to get out of clothes that are decent enough.

Body spray + Deodorant. Makes laundry last longer.

... febreeze if you're a dude.

I also recycle my clothes by reselling them to 2nd hand stores, ebaying them, or donating them.

Heh, Id say that the original cartoon in the OP's post applied to me to, even though Im not a uni graduate student...

But my tendancy to be late for things, and so run everywhere (the town where I live is just small enough for public transport across it to be impractical) means I generally get pretty sweaty all the time...

I think you might as well save washing untill you need to do it, but my mate, who decides whether or not underwear is clean by smelling it in the mornings takes that maybe a little to far

I usually wear a shirt three times before I throw it in the washer unless I need it spotless for an upcoming special event.

I wash them after two times use. You can recycle and conserve energy all you want but I'm your negative outweighting your postive.

I dunno, sometimes clean clothes end up on my floor and I mistake them as dirty. Generally I only wash them once they start to really smell, which is 2+ uses. I try to keep deodorant and a little perfume or something much of the time. Any clothes I stop using I donate to charity, or else throw away (as they tend to wear out).

I can often wear clothes three times, before washing them. I also agree with Lola. Deodorant and overall cleanliness helps significantly of course against BO.
