Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!

There are so many legal hurdles to overcome to actually enforce exposure laws online, that it just doesn't work very well at all. Something as simple as identifying where and when the crime took place (and thus, which laws to use) is a major issue.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
She probably just did it for attention. She could have just gave her boyfriend the pics but NO, she had to be stupid and post them on MySpace with all the pedo's. Foolish little girl...her life is ruined now. I kind of pity her now, whatever dreams she had are shot now unless she dreamt of being a pole dancer.
No, and she shouldn't be put on the sex offender list for life as a result. I agree with you on this, at least. This doesn't make her less of an idiot for putting them on MYSPACE.She is exploring herself sexually in a sexual manner.
There should be no problem with exploring who you are.
Yeah, we're no different from monkeys or cavemen. I mean hell, look at the vast opposition to the female empowerment that is a razor-bladed vagina insert in that other thread. We're all about procreating based on the male's desire, the female's choice be damned.Do you think our cousins or ancestors care who they do it with and in front of whom?
No, but she's below the(I'll agree somewhat arbitrary) legal limit for being able to display such things, and she displayed them on a site that doesn't allow you to display such things.Sex is not something to hide
Nor is sexual expression.
Nor is nudity.
Grass on the field, play ball? Tell it to Chris Hansen. She isn't a child.
She is a teenager.
lolwutHer body is beginning to develop to be an attraction pole.
What? PEDOBAIT is evolving! Her body is beginning to change.
Her body is already changing.
*doop de doop de doop de doop DEEEEE doop dee doop de doop de doop DEEEE*
Congratulations! Your PEDOBAIT has evolved into JAILBAIT!
JAILBAIT wants to learn the move Myspace Camera Angle! But, JAILBAIT can only know four moves! Delete a move to make room for Myspace Camera Angle?
*delete Sexual Innocence*
... and POOF! Your JAILBAIT forgot Sexual Innocence!
JAILBAIT learned Myspace Camera Angle!
Actually, in some countries 14 is the age of consent. Hell, in some countries there IS no age of consent. It's a legal matter, a rather silly one at that, that's the immediate problem here. However, the fact of the matter is that in this culture, it's more likely that she has the knowledge of sexuality but not the maturity to handle that knowledge responsibly. If she did, she would have emailed the pictures to him specifically instead of putting them up where her friends and family can see.Soon she'll be used to populate this world.
I don't see how that is a child.
Any way, from what these previous posts seem to be showing- It's law versus natural rights. Or in this case, 'very' natural rights. Sure, a human shouldn't be bound by anything more then his flesh, but we've made 'law' to get rid of the things we don't like people doing to each other. With law comes restrictions, just like with weapons may come protection, and yet they can be used for war.
So even though I have a big respect for what sounds like a sort of pagan-kind of belief, unless the law is changed or abolished we can only view these sort of things based in terms of law. We aren't arguing that your body isn't your wonderland, we are arguing about whether or not that wonderland is open to the general public, and the rules around that. (As well as common sense in the matter)
In my opinion she shouldn't have been slapped in the face as a sexual offender, considering she exploited herself- whether it was knowing or unknowing on her part of what she did. I say they should just slash her Myspace account ability and leave it be.
But that's just my view, whatever the law dictates is how it's going to be. I just hope we come to a more precise scope on these new cyber-laws and what not. (You know its gonna happen)
Perhaps the world was never meant to make perfect sense.
*scratches head* jeez. Is she trying to make kids everywhere look like crazy stupid idiots? I mean, stupid is a nice word for doing that kind of thing . . . I wonder how mad her parents got when they heard from the police, lol. She's going to be in a TON of trouble . . . hehe . . . I wonder what the boyfriend thinks . . .
oh! 800 posts! yay!

Well, she's probably ugly, hence her being arrested. If she was hot no one would have said anything.
As a myspacer I can tell you that they don't do checks through every profile. Someone has to report them, or some of the "admins" saw it and BANHAMMERED!
I don't think they can legally arrest a minor for doing that. I do agree that she was stupid. Any creep out there can see it.
My AF family:
The fact that she did it without thinking is bad enough, many of the people here have a good, even if it was a girl exploring her sexuality she is still 14 years of age. Although now-a-days...kids will do anything to get naked -_-...sorry...that was wrong of me to say.
But I suppose if she wanted she should have at least made it more private but seriously...on Myspace? That is the thing that bothers me most...I'm not taking any sides...but if you're gonna pictures of yourself naked why would it be there? Even if they were private there are a bunch of perverted hackers out there that can override the locked protocol and simply look at them and post them any where on the internet...
Once again I am stating my own opinion I am taking no sides...
"An inspiration of faith and science only to be shunned...is called a Fallen Dream"
::AF Family::^Thank you Karuto^
I doubt these were taken without the intent of being pornographic, considering she sent it to her boyfriend. There is nothing wrong with being nude.
Nude is not pornography.
She can express herself in other ways that aren't illegal. And expressing yourself isn't pornography either.
It isn't art, but it's certainly not pornography.
Then go prance around nude and use that as an excuse if a cop arrests you.Why do we always have to label this and that as pornography?
If someone is comfortable enough to show their body to the world, not as an art, but just say I am human, I am natural, I am beautiful.
And we have different legal standards than our ancestors. We just have to think of some way to make ourselves "dignified"
Our ancestors our cousins, their naked in the wilderness.
You'd be the first to complain if a man started exposing himself to children. We are animals naturally, and animals don't care if they are nude or not.
Nude is fine.
Then what IS pornography?Sexual expression is fine, it doesn't have to be classified as pornography.

On this day of days, most epic and prideful, you were born 15 whole American years ago!
Through the odds and by doing the impossible, you beat out hundreds of thousands of siblings in the great sperm race for the coveted egg.
Probably via hax.
Regardless! You won!
So remember, whenever someone picks on you or calls you weak or small.
Just remind them that you beat out a few hundred thousand other wimps.
And the grand prize was not dying!
Don't bother Mori, he believes that the human body is beautiful. Lols, ain't it?
I believe that you should be ashamed of your body. Who do you think you are exposing yourself? A PANDA!? A FREAKIN' PANDA!?
Shame on you.
Set done by MissBunBun ^_^
Well, as she is just 14, it would be quite unethical to prosecute an underage (though, she might get trialed after she reaches 18). But, I have to say, someone needs to be spanked real good , if not herself, then, her parents who did not teach her any proper manners or her equally guilty boyfriend!

NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY
No lolis here.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
Yessssss... naughty JB was posting pictures of itself on the internet and now it needs a spanking. But, I have to say, someone needs to be spanked real good
The Boyfriend is only equally guilty if he solicited the pictures. I don't agree with any interpretation of the law that allows people to get you arrested through no fault of your own.if not herself, then, her parents who did not taught her any proper manners or her equally guilty boyfriend!
She deserves it for her foolishness. Adolescents should already have their common senses revised, doh! Not to mention...there's a same thing that happened to a stupid girl in my school.
This really goes far to show how absurd the law is: The victim is the offender (so we're punishing the victim), and the punishment is more harmful to the victim than the crime was.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
