Am I the only one feeling like this?

For starters.. I'm single.

I've been trying to find a person for a while now, but I can't seem to find anyone who I have things in common with. I'm looking for a guy who is into gaming, anime, and who just wants to have fun. It's just I keep dating guys who don't like those things and it always goes wrong. We end up having nothing in common and nothing to talk about. I don't mean to sound desperate, because I'm not. I'm ok with just having friends. It's just frustrating not being able to meet people who are like me. So I thought I would start a thread to see if other people are feeling the same way. And who knows! This might be a good way to meet someone new. So here goes nothing..

Goodness, a sweet little thing like you is bound to find a boyfriend sooner or later, just don't give up. Before I found my boyfriend, it was just a disaster. I couldn't find anyone else with my interests and was about to just give up when he fell (quite literally) into my lap. You never know when that special someone will pop up, so keep your eyes open. ^.^

Back to the topic:

As it was stated, this should be a journal entry, and I don't mean to sound.. rude? But I'm sure there are a crap load of guys that match most of your 'wants' here. To tell you the truth, I match most of it myself, accept like the distance (from what I know) and the whole 'Physically attractive' bit. Because to mainstream America I doubt I count as that. xD

But yeah, me as just an example, you've got the right logic in the sense of the kind of place you might want to look- but here it's not a dating site.

My sympathies, though. I know how it feels to be alone that way.
