Although it does depend on what kind of spicy. I don't like wasabi or mustard, but I love Tabasco and kimchi. I'm just weird that way. =P

Mmm, the food tells all. For me there's a difference between 'hot' and 'spicy' also. As in 'hot' food is just like chili - burning of the mouth etc. but no flavor, and spicy which is flavour like nutmeg, cinnamon or whatever. Though to be honest I will gladly eat either

Actually, one interesting thing about chilis - if you stick your tounge out and dry it off, then put your chili on one bit (cant remember which) because of the different types of receptors, you get the damage to the tastebuds, but not the pain. Or something

I think so too. I don't like wasabi or mustard, but I'll eat other things like Tabasco/barbecue sauce sometimes. It really matters what food I'm eating, and what my current mood is, though.

I've noticed that spicy food generally tends to be eaten when people are in their late teens as some sort of 'I've got to prove myself' thing. (Lets not mention Phall, eh? ) Also, people in their late 30's to 50's enjoy hotter food. It's probably something to do with a persons palate changing.

I've always liked spicy foods, sometimes just for the sake of being spicy.
I'm the type that puts the hottest sauce on stuff, gets the highest level wings at Buffalo Wild Wings, and other good stuff.
