FF is a little duo that consists of Jon Foreman(Switchfoot) and Sean Watkins(Nickel Creek).

I just recently found out about this whole project. Which baffles me because I thought I was really up to date on what Jon Foreman was doing. I don't mind Switchfoot, but Jon's solo work with his Season EP's are what really impress me from him.

I've also been a fan of Nickel Creek for a long time, but the only member's solo work I've really been interested in (mildly obsessed) is Chris Thile's. I haven't followed Sean Watkins' projects at all, and I really have no idea what Sara Watkins has been up to. So, Fiction Family should be a good project to become reacquainted with him again.

I'll be buying the album soon, I'm sure. I checked out a few individual tracks, but sadly I wasn't so impressed. Hopefully the album in its entirety will put my doubts to rest.
