And by recent, I mean from last week. Just got around to sorting and uploading these, they are at flickr again, as usual, but I'm posting them here as well ^_^
The Flatiron Building, built in 1902 is one of the oldest skyscrapers currently standing in NYC, at 22 stories tall.
Detail of the "Metronome" art wall in Union Square. Sometimes smoke comes out of the opening in the center there.
Apparently the ice skating rink in the Rockefeller Plaza is still operating. In the summertime, that area is used for a restaurant.
A shot of 49th street, near Times Square.
A "Valentine to Times Square" sculpture installed by Zales. It was supposed to only be up until the 22nd, but I guess they forgot.
A relatively new addition to Times Square, the stairs on top of the tkts booth.
Yet another shot of that same sculpture, this time facing uptown.
Times Square from 49th & Broadway, facing downtown.
Well thats all for this time ^_^
Other photos from the Flatiron/Union Square area, and from the Times Square walk.
