Weird accidents

Let me repeat that. I tripped on AIR. There was nothing in front of me, it just felt like the air solidified around my foot, and I end up landing on my bottom.

I wonder, has anything like this happen to anybody but me?

This has happened to me a few times. I've also tripped UP stairs. wow.

Happened to me when I was younger, only I was riding a scooter.

Wasn't one of those razor scooters that lose control over every little crack, this was one of those blown up tires scooter thing.

Anywho, I'm coming down the sidewalk with a radio on the handle playing whatever, then it stops for no reason catapulting me forward and practically did a face plant.

I was fine.. But my radio was not.

I have not tripped on nothing although I have stumbled upon my own ankle, alas that is no more weird than it is silly. It only happened two or three times just so that you are aware.

Oh yeah I fall UP the stairs constantly.

And fall over for no apparent reason.

Tripping up stairs seems to be a fairly widespread problem. At least I know several people who do, though in at least one instance that is only when drunk.

I think I once managed to break my foot at a martial arts tournament. Nothing unusual about thay you may think. Well, maybe not but I didnt do it while fighting - I had just finished, was walking to a drinks machine, and tripped over my own leg. My foot smashed into a table and then hurt to put weight on for about 2 weeks. I would so rather have been injured while fighting...

Though with practice (which I seem to get a lot of) it can at least be turned into a sort of gorrila 'use both arms and legs' gallop/dash thing. Not very elegant, but damn can you climb stairs quickly.

My mate had a spectularly strange accident - he gave himself a black eye while brushing his teeth. Just remembered lol

I did that once. I was walking up some stairs with a cup of coffee in my hand, and tripped, so I started sort of running up the stairs to regain balance, unfortunately the stairs ended before I did, so I tripped anyways and was covered in coffee.

Tripping up stairs, air, or flat surfaces are thought to be strange, though most people I know say they have that problem. Out of all those people (whom I know quite well), maybe three would I say actually had that problem.

Anyway, a weird accident? My friend's dog was standing completely still, then the next moment flipped into midair and crashed into some milk bottles, which in turn spilled all over the cat who was laying in the sun on the top of the car, causing her to then dig a deep scratch in my friend's revealed legs (she was wearing shorts). Happened about a year or so ago.

Something doesnt compute. Even if nothing solid was in front of you, how did you land on your bottom? Aren't you more likely to fall on your rear if tripped by something behind you? You could have turned on the way down, but a 180' barrel roll wouldnt have been my first quick decision in mid fall.

I was walking through my bedroom door going to the living room and my foot got caught the back edge of the door as i was passing through so i tripped landed on my face in the living room.

Who trips over a DOOR?... My friend was there to witness it all

Its happened to me before! And I had a bunch of books--scratch that: MANGA in my hands! I repeat: MANGA! More importantly is was meh fav one! *cries* I feel so pathetic and stupid! I'm not worthy!

Haha, good point! But then you could say the same about Jesus no? I mean Mary by all experience before or since had no right to get pregnant. And her son was this weirdo who said outlandish things like 'love thy neigbor' (joking! - I consider this very enlightened) and refused to die! The young upstart

Actually a lot of people were accidents like that - consider Helen of troy. I mean, ok so we all know it was Zeus, but a SWAN!? Who gets impregnated by a swan?
