Late replying to this, but joined and became a fan of all of the above. Should anyone want to add myself or SGI, we're the Blacks. Neither of us were sure about it at first, as we tended to reserve Facebook only for people we know in person, but it really could add an interesting dynamic to this site. You'll be able to attach names and faces to members, making them more human and less "words on the screen."

IIRC, there's also the option to only show someone part of your profile when you add them as a friend, so they can't view everything.

I second this.

I don't add people I have never met (for instance, if I join a FB group I don't go ahead and add everyone, I know pretty much 97% of people I add on FB and have met at least a few times). I can count on one hand the number of people I randomly add.

Nevertheless, I will join the group when I become acquainted with how things work around here.

Boredom grabbed me, put a hood on my face, flew me to Africa where I was tortured for 3 months in a prison in order to make me become a fan. But I did not yield. I dug a tunnel out of there with my bare teeth, and wandered the Sahara for what felt like a month. When I finally reached civilization, I was delirious and a friendly Camel salesman took me in. I lived there for several years until I had gathered enough strength to travel back to Sweden.
