PROLOGUE
2042 - The Scrin invaded Earth in response to the LT detonation under Temple Prime. Most of GDI's Blue Zones were attacked as a result. As the year drew to a close, GDI was able to defeat the Scrin.
2048 - The Brotherhood of Nod was finally eradicated from the Earth. Nothing was heard from them ever since.
2056 - A cyborg assault was made on the Rocky Mountains and they were able to take the Tacitus. Their origin from Nod or CABAL is unknown.
Years pass and then something amiss happened on 2071.
2071 - A new alien threat called WORMs attacked Earth. Their origin was unknown. Japan and GDI's Blue Zones suffered the most damaged.
2073 - One-third of the human race was wiped out. All nations put their differences aside to eliminate the WORMs.
2074 - World powers agreed to use weapons of mass destruction on the WORMs including GDIs hidden nuclear arsenal and their common weapon, the Ion Cannon. The WORMs were defeated but major continents were submerged as a result and Anartica has disappeared. Most casualties were 90% male in their twenties or thirties. Japan and GDI created a secret alliance between each other to counter any other alien threat, although there weren't any recent alien activities after the use of WMDs. Their alliance became public 6 months later after the alliance.
Ten years later, Japan has created a new test weapon, the Sonic Divers. A mech unit that can take on human maneuvers. While Japan got a technology leap, GDI has increased the number of Ion Cannons in space just in case of any dangerous situation as the result of the WORM attack, they also researched a family for they discovered something unusual among the family. This family, the Shepperd family, have immunity to Tiberium within the family blood. They don't know what is it that is making them immune to Tiberium. Most Tiberium has been eradicated from the Earth although some Red Zones still exist.
With these giant leaps in mind, man-kind never knew that something was still amiss...that...something was about to change the world forever...
