Princess Mononoke is one of my favorite movies, just felt like doing a picture for it
This one took a bit for the background, I used alot of reference from there background art books.

hm, your stuff is pretty damn good to be frank.
You have a nice eye for coloring and detailing. But you also make the bigger picture look good too, you have a nice eye for scenery as well.
Though one question... are these fully original or based off or colored scans or lineart?
Also, with the drawings with a shifted perspective some of the proportions seem a tad bit off, but just slighty.
Anyways, pretty awesome stuff you have there.

Whoa some real nice work freind....but i've got to ask as im a sketch artist and a painter who is interested in trying my hand at this style in the upcoming months so I was just wondering do you have any advice for me(programs,tablet,techniques etc)
uhhh ok well layers are your friend, I use about 60 to 80 for a picture and organizing everything in folders is the smart thing to do. I use a normally wacom tablet and the program I use is usually photoshop CS2 and sometimes flash 8
