An Elfen Lied question

I've watched Elfen lid second time... and know I have a question about it.
The question is:

Is it possible for a diclonius girl to pick her nose (or teeth, or ears) using vectors?


And (I hope, there're some expirienced diclonius girls with no less then 2 vectors):

Have you tried to hug a guy using your vectors?

as far as I know the vectors can operate without damaging the tissue of a human. Note that the method of speading the diclonius genes is for the vectors to infect males with the gene by contact - which clearly does not damage the tissue/body of the human.
Further early one we see that the vectors can control and hold things (the door opening lever in the first scenes is pulled down by a vector and not smashed by it) further the younger diclonius who has he legs and arms cut off (can't remember names of characters) uses her vectors to later control the new limbs she is given.

Do you mean that they hug only to spread genes?

contact appears to be specific to the brain of the subject (brain???? why there??) anyway it appears to be the brain that is targeted for the spreading of the genes - so in theory the other areas of the body should be safe - in theory......

if the diclonius is sane..........
