I watch shows online to avoid the commercials. I've actually just recently given network tv a second chance as I hadn't seen anything good on in a long time. I've been watching Lost, 30 Rock, Heroes and The office and have not been disappointed. Pretty much everything I want to watch I can see on netflix or online.
I'm not a big TV watcher, but I set aside 2 nights a week, Wed and Thurs, so that I can watch the three shows that I follow. Those happen to be nights I don't work, so it all works out.
Otherwise.. I find there isn't enough on tv that could ever (luckily) tempt me to give in to the couch potato ways..

i dont really have time to watch tv. and when i do have free time ill go work out, work on my car, sleep, internet, video games, or some other activity

I really only watch a handful of shows (heroes and house) and some others if I'm bored and theres nothing to do.
But really, those are the only 2 shows I try to watch every week. It's easy since they are back to back now.
Please, I watch TV ALL the time. I mean I have school work to do, but I dont' do it and still get good grades therefore I can watch as much TV as I possibly want to. I watch all my favorite shows too! And if I didn't hardly have any time to watch TV I would most liekly make time to watch it.

and on certain nights Heroes, American Idol or Biggest Loser, Smallville and Supernatural, Ghost Whsiperer, and sometimes *Lie to Me.

I don't watch as much as I used to, but 2-2 and a half hours a day at most.
How could you not want to space out in front of the tube? Damn kids.

I watch tv when I have nothing better to do. Or if a favorite show of mine is on, I watch it.

Their are cetain shows that I try to watch every week and if I can't I dvr them. Which is the reason my dvr is so full, but mostly I watch anime in the mornings before work and then play video games the rest of the time.
I can't since I don't have much time because of school stuffs and such. And when I do have time, there's really nothing interesting to watch. =/
I keep the TV in my room on just to have it on, but I rarely watch it.

I haven't watched TV for five months so that my brother won't be distracted from his test preperation. Usually in average situations I have some time to watch it.
Yes, I probably do have the time to watch television, but I only seldom do it. I prefer more comical/humorous things to watch, and it is really hard to find things like that, that are funny in a sense where I will not end up mocking it in one way or another. Ha-ha!

The only reason I don't watch TV is because we don't get any channels! Mom and Dad think the bills are too high for 15 minutes of commercials and 5 minutes of show. You know what? I agree.

Plenty, I just don't. I have zero interest in TV when it doesn't involve playing a video game. Even then I'm only on my xbox maybe an hour or two a day.
I don't really watch TV, not for the programs, only for the DVDs I buy. The amplifier package has good sound system. =]
Other than that, I watch news.

TV tends to bore me unless it's music channels, to be honest. I spend a lot of my free time in front of my computer instead.
Not really. I don't have much time to between work and other things. British evening telly is rubbish anyway mostly soaps and quiz shows. The only things I do watch regularly are QI, Family Guy and Scrapheap challenge. Oh and Final Score on Saturdays to get the football results.
oh yeah i'm always watching tv and i can 'cause my bro mostly studies in his room but when he's here then i can't but i have a habit of studying with the radio and the television so actually i'm always watching tv.
