Techno Wave: Release the Spirits
“All hail the skies of God,” said a voice.
Everyone stared at the man standing on the the crate. He was a skinny old man, his robes hung loosely on him, and his eyes reflected madness.
At first the people of the city thought they should hear the man out, but they quickly just went back to what they were doing at the market. Buying fruit, getting jobs, guarding the city, and passing on messages to one another. If you looked up at the sky you could clearly see the Void looming over like a universal cloud in space. It gave the skies an orange, red glow that made the desert look like a fantasy world found no where in bed time stories.
Of course this was a different planet from Earth, of course this was in the far reaches of the galaxy. And no humans being could travel that distance.
They say in the past a race called the Arachnids travel to the outer reaches of the void. And a group like no other, stopped the Arachnids from destroying the void. But that was so long ago that it had been forgotten.
Key parts of history were there present. There wasn't a true form of government, they had no leaders, they had no chaos.
But this was beginning to change, people who hailed over to the horizons and came back to the Spirit lands began talking about a mysterious creator named God.
And people, like the man on the crate, began talking about his great deeds.
“He built technology beyond our capabilities,” the old man continued, “The technology is so rich and wonderful...you must, must come over and see for yourself, you must.”
The guards moved quickly to remove the man who brothering the peace. They wouldn't punish him or throw him in jail. They would talk to him and talk him out of his madness.
“Look in the sky now...he bares you gifts,” the old man said.
At first they thought the man was lying, but they suddenly looked up together and they saw balls of fire hail from the sky.
The guards restraining the old man to talk to him, quickly let go of the old man. They took out small little orbs, there mouths moved as if they were chanting something. Suddenly a shield came up around the city.
The guards that weren't holding the shield began grabbing the citizens and escorting them towards the armory, just in case they needed more warriors. No one was to be left to sit and die everyone had a part. Someone was challenging they city and they were to use self defense to make sure they weren't stepped on like a welcoming mat.
“Agents quickly over the wall,” the general said, “We'll meet you outside the wall..three of you can keep the shield going,”
“Sir,” the guards said.
The agents suddenly came out of the shadows. They ran forward past the guards getting their horses ready. The wall that protected the city was about 6ft in height and yet the agents seemed to glide in the air with one jump. They landed gracefully on the other side of the wall and slid down the wall. The enemies that had declared an attack seemed almost surprised at such a feet. The walls wooden doors opened and the guards came charging out with their mechanical horses, their armor flashed in the sun.
The enemies had no chance of escape. They were men bearing heavy cannons, but these cannons were no cannons anyone had seen before. They were made of this chrome material that didn't exist or not in any history.
The men behind the cannons tried to run, but the agents used the speed of their sliding to come over and slide through the hordes of running enemies. They took out their curved blades and ripped limb off of limb. Suddenly the ground began to shook and if you looked over the horizon a large charging army was coming up towards them.
“Formation B,” the general said.
The agents got into their positions and so did the guards. The guards were the shields and the agents were all huddled in one giant black cloak. The strange symbols on their robes began to glow. The enemy was coming closer.
“Now,” the general said, “Do it now!”
A strange circle in the sky appeared and the charging army looked up.
“Now witness our fire from the skies,” the general said.
From the symbol a storm of fire came from the symbol. It took down the whole entire charging army. The general turned around to check out the damage. There was none. He smiled.
“Good work, lets just hope the citizens aren't scared,” the general said.
“Have some guards talk them over,” the general continued.
“How about the Void Prophet speak to them?” suggested one of the guards.
“Never,”
The Game
Okay that was a very long snippet. All right so some of you may know what this is about, but most of you don't.
Those who have played my Free Spirits Game, this is a more expanded form of that. This is the like the future of Free Spirits.
The Free Spirits now live in the desert village called Spirits. But on the other half of the planet a new kind of Spirit has formed.
The people in the Spirits believe the Void is all and have created all. And if you have payed my Free Spirits game before the Void isn't god, even though the void actually did create everything they don't view the Void as god. They don't have Gods.
Unfortunately on the other half of the planet we have a city being born of steel, chrome, and technology. Now these Free Spirits kind of do believe in a God. They believe Technology is God.
And with this new rise of technology there are some new terms these days.
In my snippet on top the small orb things the guard use are called Raw Spirit. Raw Spirit unleashes a massive amount of energy, which the Spirits can expand out as a shield or to heal giant armies.
Raw Spirit can only be used once and it takes about a week for the Raw Spirit to charge back up. So be careful using it.
Now there is a black market name for Raw Spirit and that is the Techno Wave. The only true and legal way of getting a hold of Raw Spirit is to have licenses as a Spirit Holder. Spirit Holder someone who went to an academy to be able to use their Spirit energy. Of course you can also buy a Raw Spirit off the black Market, its pretty expensive and illegal.
Also there will be new terms for Free Spirits.
Now the ones who live in the desert city are still called Free Spirits and all the laws of having no real government, fighting for self defense only, and believing in life itself are still affected.
The Free Spirits on the city side though are called Techno Spirits.
Techno Spirits have different powers from Free Spirits.
Where as Free Spirits use energy and life.
Techno Spirits use technology and data to exchange as energy.
Of course there is still a Void Child, but these days they are called Void Prophets because they are no longer physical forms of the void. Void Prophets can talk to the void and become a translator for the Void.
Techno Spirits have a Mecha Void. A Mecha Void is someone who harnesses the power of a machine.
Usually its a Techno Spirit hooked up to a Master Computer.
Techno Spirits want to spread technology throughout the lands of this planet, and then on to the next planet. Techno Spirits believe in fighting, government, war, etc. They believe in everything Free Spirits don't.
Some Extra Information
I am going to allow you to be agents or guards, that is if you choose to be a Free Spirit. But here is a little bit about agents and guards.
Agents: Agents wear hooded robes, these robes have the ancient dialect of Void Spirits[Ancient Free Spirits]. This dialect can be chanted and they can create energy from out of those symbols. When together they can hail fire from the sky such as what happened in the snippet above. When they are alone they can create miniature scales of massive problems such as the hailing fire from the sky. Problem with using these great energy, it can wipe an agent out and they are pretty much useless after that. You know tired and weak, they will need rest. So use that only when necessary, especially when alone.
In Combat- In combat agents are deadly quick. They have curved blades and can almost glide in the sky. As in the snippet they can jump pretty high. They are master of Judo.
Guards: Guards wear armor and use Raw Spirit. Guards usually use Raw Spirit to either create shields, heal each other, or harness the power of a Raw Spirit into their bodies and become extremely strong. Guards have most of the power and most Guards can harness the power of the Seven Prodigies. The Seven Prodigy power is something very serious. It basically this large burst of energy that stops their enemies hearts in an instant. Of course this power can only be used once every month. So use this cautiously.
In Combat- Guards are a little slower then Agents. They are still pretty fast, but they are known for having straighter swords. They have immense strength and they have immense power, that is only used in very dangerous measures.
If you are a Techno Spirit you have two classes that are somewhat like the guards and agents.
Crawlers: Somewhat like the Agents. Of course the Techno Spirit dialect, which has originated from this time, is carved in their arms. This dialect can do a numerous things. It can poison the enemy from a distance, it can also place taboos on the enemy[like say the enemy can't hit a crawler, if they do hit the crawler anyway they die], and heal wounds.
Of course just as the agents these powers are to be used cautiously. Since Crawlers are somewhat genetically modified Free Spirit, the adverse affects of what happens to them is unknown and can kill.
But this doesn't short side them from being any less powerful then the Agents.
In Combat- As their name suggest Crawlers hide more in the dark then the Agents do. Crawlers are pretty quick and they are even quicker on all fours. They crawl on walls and hide in the dark. They specialize in cutting and usually have claw like blades or daggers. They are the master's of fluid hand to hand combat. Usually contorting their body out of harm's way such as a punch.
Fighter: Techno Spirits don't really need Guards. But they do need someone who will clean up the streets of crime. Fighters are like the police force of the city Technoid. They also hold Raw Spirit. But the energy is more mechanical in general. They have the ability to use the Raw Spirit to turn any machinery in a good 30 mile radius into living breathing monsters, they also can have the energy come inside their body and they send shock waves of mechanical lightning.[Mechanical Lightning is something like steel and lightning mixed together] Be careful of using your Raw Spirit it can backfire and of course as I have stated before, Raw Spirit itself needs to charge up. Most Fighters were just once Black Market criminals.
In Combat- Fighters are slow, but just like the Guards are still quick on their feet. They have blades like katanas and use more deadly fluid motions to create enough force to overcome even the strongest enemy. They are master of hand to hand combat, usually street fighting.
Some Other Classes
Gifts: Odd name for people I know. But the Gifts are roaming nomadic people. They have not really built a community within in the desert planet, they are basically exiled Free Spirits. The Free Spirits exiled them with their freedom in mind. The Gifts are the only class that uses solely Ultimate power.
In Combat- Gifts are known for using scrolls and ancient tags to harness power. Most of their power is solely Ultimate, which make them the weakest group. But what makes them special is their ability to work in groups and it usually balances out the damage done to ones body.
Freewalkers: Freewalkers are Techno Spirits. But no ordinary Techno Spirits. They have rare abilities that allow them speed and advantageous more so then any other class. Though Freewalkers are sort of like the Free Spirit and Techno Spirit anarchy and mercenaries.
You pay them the right price they'll work for you.
In Combat- All Freewalkers have the ability to take the people they are fighting into a parallel realm known as Free Wave. This world is a blank green room, with data soaring everywhere. Freewalkers are really quick and have the combined abilities of a Crawler and a Fighter.

Character Sheet info. Ultimate powers can only be used once every month. They drain the body of any energy, some of you may be really exhausted after using an Ultimate attack. Ultimate attacks should only be used in extreme situations. Unless you have gifts such a Future sight in which the future comes to in dreams so you can't really stop that.

Defend abilities include- computer guard[when life is in danger his main computer will protect him], and wire guard[when on field and life is in danger numerous wires will protect him]
Ultimate-10
Ultimate abilities include-future sight[can see the future], and time shift[slow time, stop time, etc.]
History: Umea was the child of a machine. Half-machine and half-human he was the perfect candidate for the Techno Void. Not only that, but his numerous gifts into diving into the future and shifting time made him an even bigger candidate. They snatched Umea up when he was 2 years of age, they never told him about his family nor where he was born. Umea is located at the Archive building, in most cases he is in a Computer State Coma. A Computer State Coma, is being hooked up to a computer by force, being put to sleep by force, forcing to listening to computer babble, and having your dreams, which are your future sighting, recorded into video so people can store it. Umea is rarely on the field battling.
