Are you sure it's not anime to reallife transition. Like what Heroes did with all the side/fake websites and stuff they have going on.

The rumor is not true. It was started when all official sites related to the 2nd season of the anime had 404 Errors appear on them. [i]But[/] the 404 Errors were a reference to one of the light novels, The Vanishment of Suzumiya Haruhi. The 2nd season is still planned. It's pretty old news, actually.


As for what I'm looking forward to, not really all that much.

The Tower of Druaga: The Sword of Uruk (sequel to The Aegis of Uruk)

A few are pretty interesting, but most are dependent on how interesting the first few episodes are. There also seems to be a good number of films coming out this year (you've only listed a few, mostly series-based films), hopefully they are pretty good.

The 2nd season of Fullmetal Alchemist is just Bones milking the cash-cow.
Once again, too many moe series trying to catch the coattails of Lucky Star, etc.
General onslaught of sim-based anime.
Kobato., which is just proof that anime crap CLAMP produces will be animated.

Xero for one of few times I agree with you. CLAMP crap does get an anime. Not every series needs one, but why not __ore your manga around.

That's probably because freshly released anime in Japan take time to travel to audiences abroad because of issues with distribution and translation.

Anime I am currently watching on a regular basis this spring:
Rideback (I started watching this with no forward knowledge and I'm hooked)
Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai (another anime I didn't know existed until I saw it on television. A rare anime in my opinion, since good old-school fantasy anime is hard to find these days.)
Tower of Druaga, The Sword of Uruk (One of my most anticipated series of the year. Fatina <3)

Anime I am looking forward to:
Umineko No Naku Koro Ni (How the hell are they going to animate all those mass murder scenes without being censored to the moon I don't know)

How is Rideback? I've been interested in it, but it's hard to find info on it, especially when it has no one fansubbing it or anything.

Shows I will probably most defiantly watch this winter are White Album, Hetalia Axis Powers, Chrome Shelled Regios (I've been reading the manga and it's pretty good.), and Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou (I loved the first season!)
