For those who don't know, that's Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4.

This took me a while to do, and even then it's not all that good. As shown, I am not the best in shading...

Sorry that I had to use a cell phone for the photo; I don't have a scanner. That gold glare on the left shoulder is my lamp, haha.

Thank you. And it's awesome to see another Naoto fan as well! =D

But that entire thing is penciled, other than the outlining of the character with a cheap, gel pen.

Wow, I thought it was shaded with a professional marker or something lol. I didn't know you could shade something so nicely with just a pencil xD

I like how you shade. The lines seem to harmonize with the shading, and that's pretty good. Well, uh, it's better to work on the proportions then - the neck looks too thin and there's a little weird point on the cap. You can also work more on the face, and practice makes perfect. ^_^
