Buying animes

Ok! so ive been thinking for a while now since ive stopped smoking i should spend my money on animes!
the only ones i can think of buying are animes ive seen already...
soooooo i just wanted to know...
would it be worth it buying anime ive already seen or should i just go for stuff thats new to me and i havent seen
what do you all do?

I've only bought anime I've seen and really liked, so that when they are no longer being aired and no longer available on the internet, I can still watch them.


Manga on the other hand, I find a new one and read a few chapters in the store, and buy it if I like it.

Both. Seperate them into different piles. It also depends on the extras.

I say it depends on the quality of the anime. If you watched it and thought it was good but didn't feel a compelling need to rewatch it anytime soon, I'd say save your money for anime you haven't seen. However, if there is an anime you did enjoy greatly and want to have available for multiple viewings, I'd say that definitely makes it worth the purchase.

If there is an anime that looks really interesting to you and looks as though it contains your preferences with regards to anime, then by all means buy it. Also if there was an anime series that you absolutely adored and would love to watch again then by all means buy it.

i buy the ones i like, its sorta like a trophy telling others that ive watch it. New anime i just watch online or borrow, then buy if i like it.

I shall tell you. Because people like you, I am assuming, watch all of these amazing and expensive productions and enjoy them yet are doing nothing in return for the anime industry. All of the sweat and hard work put into these series' and such and some people just sit there, double click, and whatch them for absolutely nothing. Fine you get some entertainment from it, but the companys that make the actual anime get sod all.

Did you know that the business building that Naruto is made in is a very sorry sight? Stained walls, depressed looking workers, dirty floors,.. that fun, amazing and comical anime is made within an atmosphere like that because of people like you. That is why people should buy and not download, you hypocrite.

i buy everything ive liked that ive seen on TV; or that I hear is good - wether or not ive seen the whole show on TV, but then again i'm a collector, so...it really just depends on how much time and money youre willing to put into it...and as for me i am completely against downloading, I find it to be kind of a big middle finger to the people that put so much effort into making the shows in the first place, but to each his own...
