^^ not bad, jw where is that render from i feel like i've seen it from somewhere....
both made by me
i think overall it could use alittle more of the basics
the render seems to just be smacked on top and doesnt really have an blending with the bg at all.. the bg itself is alittle flat imo and could use more depth and effects. the tag as a whole could use more foreground effects too
also not a fan of the text being up in the corner, it really pulls away from your focal and hurts the composition. would look better alittle smaller and much closer to the focal
keep working at it

I figured putting a swirl effect in the back right behind the render would kinda recreate some flow. D: lol

even a swirl doesnt create a great flow effect, because its going in a swirl.
you really want to concentrate the flow into a single direction (tho this doesnt mean that it has to be a straight line). usually flow is decided off the placement and orientation of the focal/render/stock.
and about the text, ive found in my past that text isnt always necessary and a majority of the time a tag will look better with out it. If text is an absolute must (as it seems to be in the sotw here :yuck: ) its better to make it small, plain, and close to the focal (or as unnoticeable as possible). once you get a good hold on creating effective typography, it can REALLY help a tag and make it better, but until then, it can drastically hurt a good tag ^^
