Glasses or Contacts

I wear glasses. That being because my eyes aren't that bad, hey i can legally drive without wearing them ^.^ but it depends on you. If you have to wear them all the time that'd get annoying.
So!!! If you have to wear glasses all the time- try contacts
If you only need to wear them to see the board in class or something like that, stay with glasses.

i would say glasses bc you can lose contacts very easily and you could poke your eye lol.

I don't wear either but I would prefer glasses. Contacts seem too troublesome. Also, putting something directly on the eye makes me cringe.

I'll say glasses.. I've found a several desease cause by wearing contacts.. That's why untuil now, I don't want to wear contact.. I already feel comfortable with my glasses, anyway.. lol..

i haven't worn either, but my bro has worn both....so i have to say i prefer contacts since with contact you can move more freely and not worry about your glasses coming off....although contacts can sometimes itch>.<

It's true, I do wear contacts when I play sports too so it doesn't get damaged by the ball, and it's more convenience. Contacts itch is because either your eyes are restless, either it's inside out, or the lens are dirty. It's important to be fully rested before putting the contacts on.

it's like saying i won't eat food cuz' i heard about alot of diseases coming from it. OF COURSE there are diseases! if you don't wash your hands well (the ones who wore contacts understand me ><) is like eating expired food. yeah, if you don't pay attention you could get an awful disease and die. (joking)
and you CAN'T ACTUALLY POKE YOUR EYE! for gods sake people... if you insert alot of power,YES, you can, but you can't put a 5 year old to wear contacts, can you? so you have to be more than 12-13... so you can understand HOW to put them. i'm wearing contacts for 2 months and i still can't put on my left eye on first try. but it's alot better than glasses. i couldn't wear glasses all the time.
- agree with drm0ney - if you must wear them alot, use contacts. if it's for seldom use, use glasses.

Yeah it's a bit inconvenient at first, and even after a year of having contacts, I still hate putting them in. At the same time I am NEVER going back to glasses. Contacts makes everything so much easier. Sports are 100000000 times better with contacts. Also I think I look better in contacts.

I have glasses, because I'm near-sided, so things far away from me look blurry. I've sat in front row at school and still couldn't read the words on the board in the classroom. I only wear them if necessary though. Also, I chose them over contacts, because I don't think I could stand trying to put those things on and off of my actual eyes. x_X;

Glasses. I don't like contacts. If I'm afraid of taking eye drops... then I definatly don't like contacts. I hate putting things in my eyes. It's weird. Glasses are much safer. But after wearing my glasses for a very long time, my head hurts. But I don't care.

I prefer contacts so much more than I do glasses.
I've had glasses for seven years before I got contacts, and it was hell.
Having the chance of them bending...which happened to me a lot.
Cleaning the lenses.
Slipping off your face.
And since I have horrible vision my glasses come with thick lenses.
I dont mind wearing them before I go to bed while reading a book.

It all depends on the person-some people just look better in glasses or vice-versa. I have bad allergies in my case so I couldnt wear contacts even if I wanted to lol...

Glasses! I wear glasses and I definitely prefer them. If you're worried about your look, don't! It's really okay, everyone will love you for you who are! I had a time where one of my friends asked if I wore glasses [I was wearing them at the time] haha so everyone practically forgets about them and they just see who you are. ^^

Ah, and also if you had a late night, and you wake up with dark rings under your eyes, the glasses practically cover them haha - no one can see!

Just found out that your eye can get lots of infections from contacts if you sleep and shower with them in or get your eyes really wet. So the only use for them is for sports and karate for me now. Glasses are much safer

Well, I really do love mein glasses. I simply cannot live without them!

But it is whatever you wish, if you are uncomfortable with glasses sitting on your nose all day, try contacts. Contacts always give me trouble to put on, I am very delicate with mein eyes, and after a while they irritate me. I go with glasses, but whatever makes you comfortable, please do.
