regret nothing and you will survive
survive and you will succeed
succeed and you will be happy
happiness sometimes conquers all.
Burns are pretty bad. The pain comes in waves.
i've burned myself but not bad though.
regret nothing and you will survive
survive and you will succeed
succeed and you will be happy

I'm sure enough physical pain can make one forget about whatever 'mental pain' they're experiencing. It's, like, an instinctual reaction or something.
So I'm going to say some elaborate torture method is the worst kind of pain.

Lingering pain that re occurs every so often. I get it in my ankle from breaking it years ago.
I agree with the Heart pain. It's as if someone is stabbing you with a knife, seriously.
Probably heartbreak.
That and stubbing your foot on a coffee table

yeah i would have to agree with heart pain because it does actually feel like a knife going right through your heart.
regret nothing and you will survive
survive and you will succeed
succeed and you will be happy

Not to be overly facetious, but ulcers feel like knives going into your heart too.
I've been through plenty of both types of pain, though much more of the physical kind.
The thing about heartbreak, is that at least you get something that feels good out of it beforehand, and the amount of pain you feel from heartbreak is proportional to how good you felt beforehand. So at worst it's a zero-sum game.
With physical pain, well, you can go through plenty of that without any benefit before or after the fact, so you're pretty much always a loser when it comes to physical pain.
I think it's important to recognize that pain, even if it feels bad, is not necessarily a bad thing. You don't need to enjoy it, but it helps to recognize its value. Like how in a Yin-Yang, each half defines, and is defined by, it's opposite. Your capacity to feel pain defines your capacity to feel pleasure, and vice versa.
Besides all that, didn't your parents tell you, "it builds character".
Im gonna hafta say period pain. when its that time of the month
~Thanks to Paprika for the awesome sig. ~
I agree that heartache is the worst kind of pain. I'd rather be hit than have my feelings hurt.
i disagree. i can't say i ever truly cared about anyone, but, you know, when you torture someone's significant other, he tends to be more willing to cooperate then when you burn his hands and feet, tape his legs to his head and stuff him in your trunk for a day or two after a few sessions of waterboarding and sexual abuse by a well endowed gay friend (the latter only works if the victim is homophobic and/or religious).
GASTROSCOPY!...that’s getting a camera shoved down your throat and into your stomach, you cant breathe, gag, vomit and have involuntary spasms. Its worse when they don’t give your aesthetic properly so you’re aware of the whole thing!!
I hate hospitals.
That and heartbreak, yeah, that kinda thing effects your whole body.
Kiii!~
I would say heartbreak, but it's not as bad as death. Whenever someone close to you dies, it really hurts. And what's worse is that you can't really do anything about it, which makes it hurt the most.
I think cuts and stabs would hurt more. Just imagine biting a razor. D:

yeah i would have to say a death in the family or someone close to would hurt alot but you also get heart broken because you lost them through death.
regret nothing and you will survive
survive and you will succeed

Razor blades are too sharp. Doesn't really hurt until afterwards, and even then it's more like "Oh, I'm bleeding". Dull blades are more painful.
Getting salt in a wound hurts. A lot. And I mean A LOT. Removing teeth also hurts a lot. Putting it all together, removing teeth with blunt knife and then eating salt.

Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Being kicked in the butt and later finding out it hit your coccyx, so having a wave of pain every time you move and not being able to sit down or lie down properly for days... yeah.
HA! I emasculate that! My momma taught me to piss on my wounds to dissinfect them.
And a toth exctraction could be such a walk in the park, given a good Arsenic anaesthetic and a sexy dentist. And getting her number is to make the afterword pain worth it.
And to those who mentioned "heartbreak", you obviously haven't broken you tibias.

Getting your limbs cut off and the wound nubs being jabbed with hot pokers.

i get it, i'm just saying it depends on the way you look at it - as a momentary torture (as punishment), sure, physical pain wins, but if it's just about anything else: trauma, extortion, information extraction,... it might fail. the only problem with emotional pain is the victim being pretty persistent with the revenge attempts, so you have to pick someone the victim wouldn't want to lose, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if he did, or, even better, kill them both after you're done with them.
Being hit by a car is not only painful but it can kill you....
