It's not really about homosexuals...it's regarding a anime which is about homosexual couples. We didn't choose to focus on the fact that the couples were gay, as I don't really see that this would be a problem.

Indeed, him and Naruto are by far the most complex and therefore interesting characters of the series, that is basically centred in the two of them

 

Kabuto seems that he's gonna die of else just got lost and I'm pretty much sure that Naruto will handle the masked guy and discover who he is, leaving Sasuke as the solo and final villain

Sasuke can be really annoying sometimes but guess it's his determination that, despeite being for wrong porpuses (I don't think revenge is always a good porpuse, plus what Itachi's told him), is as strong as Naruto's!

I would argue that he has no true purpose now...he used to know where he was going, but now he's a plain crazy-head!

He's extremelly stubborn and nobody (guess that not even Naruto) seems to be able changed his mind full of hatred.

 

He keeps wanting to destroy Konoha as a revenge for what the village did to Itach, and his love for his brother, the only feeling he has not involving hatred, dead and revenge, makes him keep to that goal. Unless the masked guy does not die I don't see Kishimoto creating any new villain, so Sasuke will play that role, fighting with Naruto in the last arc of the series for Konoha

I agree...it's all been leading up to that point; it inevitable that's going to happen, but I don't want it to happen too soon, because then it will be the end and I will be sad. I probably won't be able to leave my room for a few weeks.

Ah ah, I wouldn't be sad to taht point but most definetely would be unhappy!
However, I kinda feel like Naruto is heading to the end: (guess I need to spoiler this :P)

 

Edo Tensei was stopped and guess Kabuto will finally get lost, Naruto will start to show up again and Sasuke disappear again, Naruto will handle the masked guy and I guess this arc will end in 10-20 chapters, just guessing. Then the final arc would be the next one, with Sasuke alone atacking Konoha and Naruto fighting to protect it.

I REALLY HOPE I'M WRONG but I see Naruto ending in 2014 or so, with 100 more chapters or less, don't know, at least Kishimoto let it escape that Naruto won't be that more long (it already is! xD)

Anyways, it will ALL depend on Sasuke, the longest he attacks Konoha the longest the series will be

Sasuke is a great character even if he's good or evil. But I'm not going to hate him for leaving the Leaf Village and doing his own thing. Besides, Kishimoto could've reverse the situation and it could be Naruto or Sakura that leaves the Leaf Village. Would you hate Naruto or Sakura if that was the case? To me, they're just characters and they do what the artist wants them to do.
Itachi isn't a bad character either. He had a mission and it requires slaughtering his clan even if he loves his parents and didn't want to do. that. If you read the upcoming manga, Itachi talks to Sasuke about his past and everything. His parents are still proud of him even at the moment when they Itachi must kill them and Itachi cries because he doesn't want to do it.

Its easy to want to hate sasuke but look at it from his point of view. He lost his entire clan, his parents were killed in front of him by his beloved brother. He finds out the truth later on but that hate had become so strong that he didn't want to hear it. If anything I feel pity for Him. But in the latest naruto chapters it seems that he might not turn good again, but I feel that he will have his moment of redemption. Sasuke still has an important part to play.
