Sasuke: Love him or hate him?

It seems Sasuke seems to have a lot of fan girls, but there are a bunch of people that deeply despise him as well. So I just want to ask: do you like or hate Sasuke, and why?

I hate Sasuke because he holds on to his revenge. First of all, he had friends and a possible girlfriend who all cared about him, yet he gave all that up for some petty revenge. Only a stupid person could give up the people he loves for revenge. I also don't like his personality after he joins Orochimaru. I just feel like punching him.

I dont like any of the characters much.
They have never been my favorite, same with the show.

I've only watched Naruto and a bit of Shippuden, so I'm very outdated.
But I really liked Sasuke in the first season.
He was hot for a, what, 13 year old?
Hahhaha.

But once he turned bad and became uglier, I kinda lost my liking for him.
I still pay attention to the character, but just not so obsessed.
I should really start watching Shippuden again.

I can't stand Sasuke. I don't like how cocky he is just cause he's from the Uchica clan. I also don't like how he looks down on everybody even the people who care about him, and eventually turns his back on them. He's just a jerk and I would love to see Naruto kick his butt.

being honest i think he's an awesome character and i like him

1. When he was about 7 his brother used mangekyo on him and replayed in his mind slaughtering all his family and clan (that would mess anyone up especially at such a young age)

2. He refrains from killing innocent people still even after joining orochimaru he only has his eyes set on Itachi

3. He puts Orochimaru in his place

4. When about to be defeated against the 8 tailed guy he thought of the good memories he had with squad 7 and it revived him and allowed him to win the fight therefore his feelings for them haven't gone

so yeah i like him he's just had a messed up life :P

i would have to say, neither of the two. i don't like him and i don't hate him either. i agree with you, Sigma. that is not a really wise decision, to give up everything for revenge. so i simply think he's stupid xP

I don't like Sasuke cause he is a little to cocky for me. The revenge factor I can understand(Itachi killed everyone in the clan), but he didn't have to leave the village in his quest for power. There were and still are lots of great teachers that could have trained Sasuke and made him stronger. He just wanted to take the easy way out and achieve the power quicker.

he had the perfect life. a village that respected him everyone loved him and every girl drooled over him. Plus his brother ended up dieing and killing half his family to protect him. I just think sasuke is a waste of time on naruto he should be demoted to minor character.

Sasugay wears clothing maybe one size too small, looks like an emo piece of crap, and doesn't really react to girls. I doubt he'd take any interest in you as a result. He's playing for the same team and you know it. Nobody cares about the past all too often. What happened happened so shut up and move on. That's something to say to Sasugay.

i can tell someone is hating a little too hard. if you want to get on clothes nejis clothes fit him the same way so does he look like an emo piece of crap? and lee's tight suit isnt any better it looks like hes playing for both teams too i guess.and i dont need a charater off a show to pay interest to me its a show never said i had a crush i was just voicing my opinion on how much i liked the character. and if a character has a boring past i dont want to see their future like with sakura or ino so the past matters!

No, the past really does not matter. You can't keep dwelling on it as it will eventually consume you. People have killed themselves because they have thought about the past often.

Ever hear of Post-Traumatic Stress? The victims are scarred because of what happened in the past. You just have to keep moving no matter how hard it is.

I think Lee and Guy-sensei were intended to be kind of flamboyant.

Regardless, wearing nothing but black and blue just shows how much of a gloomy, emo speck of life Sasuke is.

Sakura looks like a "candy striper" with bad fashion sense and Sasuke matches up to that of the kid in school who always gets picked on.

They both suck. The fangirls do too.
