Star Chaser

Alula Borealis was once a dancer. She was a vixen of fine form that took stage with great singing legends and stars. She lived a life of fineries and money, fame and good fortune. She was considered one of the most loved celebrities because she was a good person to everyone she met and she didn’t mind the attention she received from the media a tabloids. None of the trivial things of her stardom bothered her and she was a charitable soul, donating much to needy organization throughout her entire career. She also had a rival, though. Alula and Vildiur Minor considered one another friendly rivals and they constantly competed for spots in dance troops and gigs.

That was until their stars were shot down.

*NEWS REPORT*
On a gig in London, on Monday, where they performed together on stage, Sorrow Queen lead singer Sarah Mismar and two of their dancers, Alula Borealis and Vildiur Minor were shot when a mentally unstable fan pulled a gun on the performers. The fan, Kochab Khad was apprehended only after he had shot Mismar twice in the head, killing her and badly wounded Borealis and Minor. Minor took two shots to the right leg, officially ending her career as a dancer and Borealis took a hit to her side and another to the right eye, which luckily did not take her life. Unfortunately, she can now only through her left eye. Alula should be well enough to leave the hospital on her own in a few weeks, but Vildiur must endure rehabilitation for her leg and is not expected to walk for several months. Khad is to be tried for the attack by the end of this month. Sarah Mismar will be missed by her close friends, band members and fans. Her funeral services are scheduled to be held this Sunday in her hometown. Fans are welcomed by the family to come and pay homage to their beloved songstress.

Vildiur’s and Alula’s career as dancers were essentially over. While they soon fully recovered, the world had all but forgotten about them. Besides, how could they continue their dancing careers after their good friend had been taken from them? The girls remained rivals after the experience but slowly began to grow apart. Both girls are no longer the timid, kindly dancing stars the public had always known them to be. This kind of pseudo-rejection to pursue their childhood dreams made the colder than they had been before. However, some ambition of fame still lurked within them, and then came a realization. They were both watching the evening news when a breaking news story aired.

*NEWS REPORT*
Kochab Khad, convicted of the murder of Sarah Mismar, lead singer of Sorrow Queen, and of the terrifying assault on her dancers Alula and Vildiur, escaped captivity just last night. It is suspected that he had an inside contact that helped with the escape. He may no longer be in this star system and authorities are in hot pursuit. A bounty has been placed on his head of $7,000,000. The authorities beg anyone that is capable to be on the lookout for this dangerous man. Nobody wants his crimes to remain unpunished.

It then occurred to the two former dancers that they could use this to gain some kind of meaning for their existence once again. So they set out to become bounty hunters. But this is the year 2215, and the stars have become a common escape path for criminals. So a good space ship and crew is required for them to continue with their ambitions, not only to catch criminals (especially Khad), but also to explore the galaxies on an incredible adventure. They have become bounty hunters and Star Chasers, those who spend their lives exploring unreached areas of space and visiting foreign worlds.

Ever the competitive pair, they each set out on their own, spending the next few years of their lives building their own ships from scratch with the help of a few experts in the field. It was very recently that each completed a functioning ship to use in their adventures.

Alula captains the bounty ship Orion.

The race to capture their most hated foe, Kochab had begun. The only problem? Ursa Major and Orion need ship hands. And that’s where you guys come into play.

Races:
There are three races.

Humans – the normal, mundane, everyday human. Native to Earth. That’s this planet.

Caigo – They have bleach white skin and lightly colored hair or they have pitch black skin and darkly colored hair. They are similar to humans but have a much lower tolerance for cold and are often considered mentally superior to humans. White Caigo are very vulnerable to sunlight. Native to Rjukar a distant planet that orbits close to its small star.

Rez – Look almost exactly like humans except for their pointed ears and multi-colored eyes. They are considered physically superior to humans, in general, but most specifically: they have much greater hearing and sight. They also have a low tolerance for heat and sunlight. Native to Menda a distant planet that orbits a relatively weak star, which gives off little heat.

Ship Ranks:
Ship Rank means nothing more than the roles available on the ship. Basically jobs. Following, are the jobs that are available.

One-per-ship ranks -
Captain - commander of the ship. The buck stops with her, and she makes all the final decisions to be made.

Co-Captain – basically the captain's assistant. Helps to make final decisions.

Chief of Navigation – commands the direction of the ship at the helm as ordered to do so by the captain. Very well versed in the workings of the ship and can double as an engineer.

Chief Engineer – In charge of keeping the engines going. Commands all other engineers on board and can overrule a decision made by the Chief of Navigation if it compromises the ship’s safety

Chief of Medicine – In charge of the Medicine and safety departments of the ship. A learned physician and medic and most trusted doctor on board.

Chief of Security – The gun-slinging fighting master on the ship. Keeps up with guards, weaponry, and prisoners on board.

Head Chef - Keeps the kitchens in order and prepares all cuisine on the ship. Responsible for keeping ship hands and passengers alive and well-fed.

Officers (1, 2, and 3) – well-respected ship hands also close to the captain and aid in decision-making. Not required for the RPG but at least one is requested for each ship.

Other jobs on ship:
Medic (up to 5 per ship) – sees to the wounded on the ship.
Commanded mainly by the Chief of Medicine

Engineer (around 3 per ship) - sees to it that the ship remains functioning.
Commanded mainly by the Chief Engineer

Guards (at least 3 per ship) - sees to it that the ship remains secure. Are some of the strongest most skilled with weapons on the ships.
Commanded mainly by the Chief of Security

Cooks (up to 3 per ship) - assists the head chef in the preparation of meals for all on board the ship.
Commanded mainly by the Head Chef

Meeting the Captain:
What goes here? Which captain you wish to serve and how you met her. How you came to know one-another, and how you came to work on the ship with her.

NOTE: The ships’ hands should also be assets on the field, either as fighters, medics or just gunslingers. Everyone helps on a mission and everyone helps in exploration, on and off the ship.

Weapons: She is very profficient with her black katanas, Betelgeuse and Spica, and she has several vintage shotguns and pistols in her quarters. She generally uses some more modernized weaponry, though she still prefers a good ol' shotgun in most situations.
Appearance: Alula
Bio: Alula was once a dancer, whose dreams were shot down by the death of a fellow performer and friend. Her fall from fame marked the beginning of her career as a bounty hunter and Star Chaser.
Meeting the Captain: She is the captain.
Personality: She is a very fine leader and a good person to those she meets. However, since her hard brush with death she is a more stern, harsher, tougher, and less forgiving person. She has a strong sense of justice now that gives her a strong personality and makes her very ambitious to capture the murderer of her friend, Sarah Mismar.

Meeting the Captain: She is the captain
Personality:
I will not control Vildiur. Anyone can take her, so long as they are also willing to take the responsibility of being Co-GM. Whoever takes her has to flesh out her bio and personality, and fill in the other blank fields, on their own. You have free reign, so long as whatever you put does not contradict the story already in place.

Race: White Caigo

Weapons: He uses what appears to be an old vintage revolver. He has many weapons, though, including his large underground army.
Appearance: Kochab
Bio: He is the killer of Sarah Mismar. He is widely considered nothing more than an insane fan. However, the police are speculating that he is much more than a rabid fan. He may be very intelligent, and recently the police have discovered that he is in charge of his own underground crime ring. Not much more is known about him, including a for-sure reason as to why he attacked Mismar, Borealis and Minor.
Meeting the Captain: He is the reason Vildiur and Alula have become bounty hunters and pursue him. He has not actually met either of them, though.
Personality: Unknown.
I will be in control of Kochab Khad. Me and the Co-GM jointly control his crime ring.

Criminals:
If some one wishes to also control a criminal we might hunt down, then PM me first. I will approve your criminal and then you may start controlling a criminal. However, in general, me and my co-GM are going to be in charge of this, most of the time, within the game.


The RPG thread will be posted as soon as we have two captains and the chief ship hands on Ursa Major and Orion. The OOC thread will be posted a little while after that.

Bio: Mayna grew up loving music and dancing of all sorts. She had many favorite famouse artist, musicians, and dancers growing up and decided that she wanted to be a Newspaper Writer to actually meet up with them and talk. So, when she was 14, she got a job as a co-editor at her school. Everyone loved her writing. She was so loved that she actually went and tried out for the cities Newspaper writer/editor. She got the job right on the spot.

Mayna first came to the Orion when she met up with Alula after the killing inccident when she was 16. She began to ask questions, since she was a writer for the Newspaper at the time, about what Alula was going to do. Once she heard, she asked if she could become a Medic for the Orion. Alula agreed. She dropped her job as the Newspaper writer and joined up with Alula on the Orion.

Meeting the Captain: Mayna works for Alula on the ship, Orion. How she first came to know Alula was right after their inccident, but right before she became a Star Chaser with ehr very own ship and crew, when she accidently bumped into her. Mayna began to ask questions on what had happened and what she was going to do with her life (since she was a writer for the Newspaper then) and Alula explained. Mayna told Alula that she would be glad to fill in the postition for a Medic and Alula agreed. Now, she works as a Medic for the Orion. (If that's alright with you)

Personality: Mayna is very social and loves to ask questions. She's just so used to it since her last job. She can get kinda annoying with her questions, but she doesn't care. She just does what she likes best; asking questions and helping others. Mayna can usually be in a very happy mood unless someone ends up getting her mad or frustrated. Then, she'll end up not talking for hours. (which most people love)

Bio (The Meeting the Captain is at the end of the Bio): Chris lived his life in Ontorio, Canada. In elementary school, he would always get picked on for his looks. People called him a girl and a he-she. It wasn't his fault; he had more of his mother's side anyways. But soon, once he got to middle school, he ignored everyone about their rude comments and moved on with his life. In high school, senior year, he moved.(he never paid any attention to where he was moving to) When his family settled into their new home, he went out to get a job. He went to get an interview at a small store down the street. They hired him. After a few years, he got the job as co-manager.

Then, it happened. One night, the killing of Mismar and about two others wounded. When he heard the news, he had to go see it for himself. He got in his car and drove all the way to where the shooting took place. But he got there too late.

A couple of more years passed. He was fired from his job down at the store for not taking things seriously, but he shrugged it off. But, one thing that he did find out, was that Alula was his Step-Cousin. Then, one day, he heard news of his Cousin's ship and becoming a Star Chaser. As always, he had to go see for himself. Hopefully he would get a job onboard. He needed it and he hoped that his cousin would give him a job. Rushing to meet up with her, he was stopped by a secruity guard. He fought franticly to reach Alula, and luckily, she heard his shouting and asked what was going on. The guard explained. Chris added the one detail he left out; they were cousins. Alula was sorta shocked at the news of meeting her step-cousin for the first time, but offered him the job as co-captain. (since they were kind of related) Chris agreed.

Personality: Christopher is... random. He can have mood-swings every now and then, but is usually a pretty cool guy. He tries to be funny (doesn't know if they're laughing at him or with him) so the people on the ship could liven up for a bit. He likes to think about the positive things and never the negetive. (unless he's either trying to be funny or they're in a terrible situation, then he talks about it) Whenever he hears news of any sorts, he's always the one to go see it in person.

Age: Body is 23 However he is considered to be philosophically dead.

Race: Human/Cyborg/Computer (its rather unclear and depends on how you define the criteria by which one transfers into the other)

Bio: Shortly after Breaeden was born he developed a psychological condition which caused him to collapse inward mentally. Essentially, his brain would refuse to acknowledge the mental stimuli associated with 'reality' and he entered into a vegatative state while still being, at least in theory, sentient and conscious inside the realm of his own mind. It was shown on MRIs and similar tests that he was doing various mental activities however they were entirely without relation to the material world, but as it stood, he would never break out of this state.

Ultimately, he family decided to have him undergo an experimental procedure to implant a small computer chip in his brain that would force the brain to acknowledge the mental stimulus.

The implantation went well however shortly after the operation an MRI showed that the computer had interacted with his brain in an unexpected way and had 'digitized', so to speak, his mental activities. Essentially, it had changed not only the way that Breaeden thought but switched centers of processing in the brain from one location to another.

Rather ironically, the computer portion of the brain became dead. The processor space no longer used.

Medical professonials and philosopher's argued about the state of Breaeden and the other 23 people who underwent the procedure, but ultimately decided that Breaeden was no longer human but rather a computer and that Breaeden the human was dead. The body was given to his family, who believed him to be on some level still alive. He stayed fuctioning and lived several more years.

What remained of 'Breaeden' was mentally superior to the average human and capable of performing tasks in similar ways to a computer. He advanced through school quickly, gaining skill with mathematics almost as soon as he glanced at the material. Eventually he graduated with a doctorate in Astronomical Physics.

However, he didn't seem content with the academic life. He shifted uneasily for a couple years, drifting from place to place. Until...

Meeting the Captain: A couple weeks ago, Breaeden was working an part-time job working at docking control. It was his job at the time to relay the directions to navigators and provide them with information for plotting courses. This was before Alula had a Navigator and Breaeden had to help her dock, providing instructions and running her through subtle aspects of navigating procedure. As a joke, Alula offered Breaeden a job as navigator and Breaeden, taking her seriously, took her up on it.
Personality:Brilliant but slightly quirky. Not the sort of gregarious quirky where he runs around doing bizarre things, but there is always sort of an dry offness to him that comes when one least suspects it. (e.g. Breaeden looked at his rifle and sighed, "Thats a Janson Tech T-77 Black Spire Rifle which fire 22 mm slugs at half the speed of light. I called it Rifle of Unforeseen Bereavement.")

Cool headed to a fault, he often fails to get swept up in the fervor of situations even when he should, causing him to say lines that others find awkward and out of place.

@ Tsunami_the_Ice_Wolf: The whole point of the "Meeting the Captain" part of the form was to give you a chance to build a back story with the captain, if you wanted that. And, of course, if I approve, you are and presumably, always have been that person to the captain. Like, I dunno... brothers, sisters, former lovers, old friends, etc. Yes you may also create a Co-Captain. Anyway, approved.

Oh, and just so you guys know, I forgot to put into the original post that Head Chef and cooks are also viable jobs on the ship. I'm adding them now, but just in case anyone had already read the first post and was wondering...

Name: Vildiur Minor

Appearance: Vildiur
Bio: Vildiur's early life shaped much of her later life. Not knowing her father and having her mother try to escape reality through many different means taught her to be on her guard. Years of her mother bring home strange men and other illegal subtances made her wise beyond her years. When she was legally free Vildiur escaped she started dancing in po-dunk Night Clubs for money. After a while her talent was noticed by Sarah Mismar who immediately scooped the rising star up for her band. She was a respected dancer and she could only go up. Tragedy struck when Vildiur's friend was killed and she injured. The fall from fame deeply scared her and made her cautious of everyone. Though Vildiur wasn't too close to Sarah Mismar she felt her own mortality. It took her a while after finding out about Khad's escape for her resolve to firm. But when she did settle firmly upon being a Star Chaser it was locked in stone she also took steps to protect herself from another tragedy.

Personality: She's loyal and a good-leader but cautious and quick to make a conclusion. She's stubborn once she's made up her mind about a person it take more than a natural disaster to move her from it.

Bio: Alanoir's life has always revolved around healing. Her mother was a good doctor and started teaching her daughter the instant she saw a flicker of interest. Eventually Alanoir took over her mother's position when her mother got to old and weak to hold it. A few years later Alanoir's mother was killed in a freak accident. Alanoir considered it her duty to keep on healing and continue her mother's legacy.
Meeting the Captain: Alanoir met Vildiur shortly after the terrible murder of Sarah Mismar. She needed a new place to work and Vildiur needed a of Cheif of Medicine. It wasn't that simple at the time because of Vildiur's inability to trust and Alanoir's own hurts. It took a while on the ship for either of them to be comfortable with the other and for the most part their still not too comfortable.
Personality: Alanoir is caring and quiet. She doesn't like getting close to anyone. Most of her emotions go into her work and the rest of the time she's bland and kind of fades into the background.

I have ideas I just couldn't exactly put them into the right words it happens. Anyway sorry last night I was a little fried.

Name: Melina (Artemis, Priam) Maxwell
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Ship Rank: Head chef
Weapons: A dagger and long-range hand gun hidden on her leg beneath her dress that she doesn't really know how to use but thinks she keeps them on her for safety (the gun belong to Priam).
Appearance:
Bio: Melina was left with a foster familly, the Maxwells, when she was only seven. At that time she was mute, and dead to the world from witnessing the brutal murder of both of her parents as she hid in a closet. The murderer wore a mask, therefore she never saw the face. But Melina believed that there was nothing left for her. She had no known family left, hence why she was left in the Maxwell's care.

Living with the Maxwells actually improved her well-being. They treated her just as well as they treated their own son. She was showered with adoration and love.

Gradually, Melina opened up and became a happier child. But the Maxwells noticed something about the child's mentality after a few months of staying with them. One moment she would be a happy, care-free child and the next she'd be cold, calculation, and a little psychotic; then there were moments where she was afraid of every little thing, even being in the room with other people. They suspected it was Multiple Personality Disorder. They didn't want to take her to the doctor, fearing that she’ll just be put in therapy and thought of as a mentally deranged child when they saw her as a precious angel that just had a few problems.

The Maxwells treated Melina no differently from Layne, their son. Both were taught manners and respect while being spoiled at once. Melina particularly liked to watch her foster mother cook authentic Mediterranean dishes. Therefore, she was taught to cook, though it seemed as if she was a naturalist at the task.

After a while, they began to interact with the other two personalities, learning that the timid one was a female named Artemis and the other a male named Priam. Melina has yet to find out about these two personalities. Whenever she blacked out her parents told her that she was just has random blackouts, probably from trauma.

Melina's life with her new family was good until the masked murderer struck again when she turned 18. It all went down hill after that, of course until she joined the Orion.

Meeting the Captain: Melina had somehow managed to escape this murder as well. As Priam, she wandered the streets. Alula found "him" sitting at a bus stop wearing week old clothes and a scowl on "his" face. At first Alula ignored "him" but then Artemis suddenly came out, her eyes filled with terror. She seemed to be speaking to Priam. "Where are we going to go?" She asked him. Priam surfaced again and replied angrily that he didn't know. This caught Alula's interest and asked "them" that, if they really didn't have any other place to go, if "they" would like to be apart of her crew. Priam agreed right away, seeing as it was best for Melina.

When Melina awoke, she was on the Orion. Scared she asked around until she was led to Alula, who comforted her and said that she was welcome there. Alula of course, did not know whether it was her busness or not to tell Melina that she had two other personalities so she left it alone for the time being. Melina then showed her gratitude for Alula taking her in by cooking for her and was offereed the position as head chef. As time passed, Melina began to think of Alula as an older sister figure.

Personality: Melina- a sweet girl that is happy and caring all around. She’s not very found of talking about her past. She hates drawing sympathy on herself and tends to put others ahead of herself. She loves to cook with a passion and has remedies memorized for all sorts of cold and coughs. She’s someone who’s easy to get along with and can be stern when she needs to be. She’s not brilliant but she’s clever enough. Many like to come to her for advice.

Priam- A brash and angry individual. He is rather protective of Melina and snaps at anyone who even looks at him (her) wrong. He’s the physically strong one of the three.

Artemis- Very timid and soft-spoken. She fears anything from a large group of people to a simple crow. She can open up to someone but it’s very rare. The only person she has ever opened up to was Layne, Melina’s foster brother.

Race: Caigo[half-anyway]
Ship Rank: Chief of Medicine-Orion
Weapons: Her vast knowledge of poisons. A metal pole that can retract and extend. Only used for defense purposes of course.
Appearance:

Bio: Kuu really never wanted to be a doctor in her early childhood. Just the sight of blood made her faint. She was born to a Caigo mother and human father. Which probably explain's her light-colored hair. Kuu's grandmother, from her mother's side, never approved of her daughter running away from Rjukar to Earth. Supposedly mom said she felt trapped there.
Kuu's parents had relatively normal jobs. Her mother was a schoolteacher and her father a ship-parts salesmen. Kuu's childhood was a prety normal one she went to school, played with friends, etc. The normalcy ended on her 15th birthday. Kuu was in a freak accident while out with her parents. She soon woke up in the hospital. The doctor told her she lost her sight in her left eye. She didn't speak for weeks. Whilst nurses patched her wounds a handsome doctor came to see her progress. She soon fell for him. His reasons for becoming a doctor were so pure. He honestly wanted to help the sick get better. But in the end it was just a crush.
While a nurse as wheeling her to the cafeteria, she saw a children's play room. Two caring parents had their child in their arms. Good news had been told to them. Their little boy's cancer was gone. Kuu knew that from that moment on she wanted to heal the sick.

Meeting the Captain: Kuu was 18 years old when a woman approached her about a offer she knew she couldn't refuse. Kuu was helping at a clinic in her neighborhood when a fire broke out due to arson. She and a few others were on duty. As everyone exit out of the building, Kuu noticed a small girl sobbing in a corner. She couldn't move due to her fracture ankle. Despite the rising smoke. Kuu carried the girl in her arms to safety outside. The paramedics offered to look at Kuu's burns first, but she said no. Just make sure the girl was alright. Wathing the scene from afar was a woman named Alula. After the crowd disspersed she asked Kuu to become a aprt of her crew. She'd been wacthing her for some time and her healing skills were excellent. Kuu accepted. It was her job to help the sick and put smiles on their faces.

Personality: Kuu is a optimistic and creative young woman. She isn't above having fun. but work must come first. She gets embarassed easily, but tries to play it off by acting cool. She can be a little selfish at times.

Weapons: Skilled with her three pairs of small knives. Also carries two pistols strapped to her waist, and a third pistol in her boots.

Appearance:

Bio: Vivian's parents owned a bed/breakfast near a tourist docking area. Vivian was stationed in the kitchen when she was seven, and for seven years she worked on chopping vegetables and peeling potatoes. Vivian never attended a public school on the account that her parents though that in sending her to a public school she would loose her free will and creativity. Mathematics, literature, sciences, histories were self taught. Singing and dancing was also something Vivian taught herself. Because Vivian never went to a public school she never had any friends. The only people she ever talked to was the old drunkard who she escorted to his room every Thursday night after he finished drinking. Vivian had an elder sister named Elene, who taught her how to use her knives. As Vivian and Elene grew older, they began to form a rift between them. While they practiced together one night they started a 'play-spar' which turned into a deadly dance. In the end, Vivian killed Elene. Her parents never forgave Vivian for killing their older daughter and in truth, Vivian never forgave herself. It wasn't until she met an old man while she was getting food supplies that she learned to forgive herself. The man told her that the past was something that once was. "Don't forget about it," he told her, "But you have to move on with your life." Vivian took his advice and attained a small peace with herself.

Meeting the Captain: Vivian met Alula when she had tripped and dropped a pitcher of iced tea on Alula's lap when Vivian was trying to serve her breakfast. While Vivian cleaned up the mess, she questioned Alula endlessly about her life, friends, family, likes and dislikes. Alula told her about her goal of becoming a Bounty Hunter. Vivian was intrigued. Alula and Vivian became good friends (Vivi's very first friend) and when Alula offered Vivian a job, Vivian was only too happy to accept.

Personality: Vivian is excessively obsessive compulsive. She can't stand to touch other people's skin, and refuses to do so even when asked. She herself cannot eat in front of people, even taste testing in front of other people is very hard for her. She also refuses to talk about Elene. Other then that, she is a very happy person. Vivian doesn't talk a lot, she prefers to hear what the other person has to say. However, Vivian has a thirst about personal knowledge. She will ask someone everything about them, from favorite foods and flowers to parents, siblings, friends and virtually anything that would be deemed as 'need to know'. Vivian has a thing about being able to memorize other people's facial expressions, tones and sounds. Vivian likes to sing while she cooks. She prefers to make cakes and deserts, and has a bad habit of throwing ingredients together and using other people as 'lab rats' to taste a new recipe. Vivian is, altogether, a curious, open minded person. ^.^

Bio: Vladimir took most of his time to train under his father, who was a bounty hunter. However his father disappeared while on a mission outside of anywhere anyone had gone. Vldimir was crushed, and was forced to live with his aunt, and his abusive uncle who would beat, and cut him anytime he wished. Soon however Vlidmir found out about his uncles dealuing, and reported him. There had been a bounty on his head, and Vladimir was rewarded for his serves, and his aunt and himself lived great.

Vlad soon became a bounty hunter himself, and a darn good one to match. He cuahgt many a ciminal, and soon was recruited to serve as Chief of sercurity on the Orion.

Meeting the Captain: While on the job he failed, for the first time, and meant Captain Borealis. She made him head of sercurity, and soon he had the ship, and his men working around the clock. They are the best, and that is what is needed.
Personality: Cold, and ruthless on the job. he doesnt accpet anything but the best, and if someone isn't up to par he well disown, and ot use them. His motto is "No room for Error." He lives it by not making a mistake in anything he does. He sometimes acts out of line when conforted with ignorant people. normally however he stays to himself, and reads a book or fifty.

Bio: During his early childhood Vlad was head of the house hold while his father, a highly skilled bounty hunter, was out on the job aboard his star ship, The Whispering Bullet. He, and his father would train during the time periods where he wasn;t on the job. A job in wihch Vlad knew nothing about. He heard the stories of bounty hunters but never eally understood what they did. He only thought of his training as a father-son bonding or something of that sort. it wasn't till the age of 5 that Vlad learned what a bounty hunter was. That was when his older sister, Esme (17), went missing while shopping. She was last sense talking to a older man somewhere in his late thirty, early fourties. She was buying cloths for his other, and young sister, Renee. The search for both that man, and Esme lasted a total of fourteen long had months. His mother was close to insanity, and his father was using every source he knew. None came with any leads. Both had seemed to just disappear, and his family slowly slipped into totture, and dispair. His father, feeling like a failure, turned to heavy drinking. He soon left the house whenever he felt the need to, and would disappear for weeks or so. However one day his father got a lead. His sister had been spotted in a distant star system. no one knew of it. His father jumped at the chance, and was gone before anyone could think twice about it. Vlad was 9 years old at that time. Renee was only 6.

Two more years past, and not a word came from him or his team. Everyone thought them lost. His mother soon passed from deep depression, and lung cancer, from smoking three packs a day. She had lost her will, and had been tip-toeing on hells boundries. Reneee, and himself were forced to move in with their Anut, and uncle. Both who seemed out of place, and distant. His aunt was happy to have children in the house. Seeing as her Husband hated children, and refused to even touch her thinking it would bring a spoiled brat into the picture. Vlad couldn't stand him at all. Renee never even looked him in his eyes.

Soon things seemed normal. Everything went well. They learned to aviod him during his drunken fits, and stayed to themselves. However every now and then he would try to pick on Renee only to have a angry Vlad confromt him, and dare him to try, and touch her. He would beat him while she watched. Vlad would take every hit without flinching. He hated that, and told him he would end up like his f-ing father. Vlad paid him no mind. However he, and renee secretly planned to rise enough money to leave that forgotten place, and look for both their sister, and their father.

Things ever got easier for them. They entered high school, and Vlad was a hit. He made lots of friends, and was at the top of his classes. She was the silent beauty. Always staying to herself, or hanging with Vlad. She learned to love her life outside of the house where Vlad was forced to fight for both of them. His uncle grew worse by the day, and one day caught renee while Vlad was hanlding some school work. She had told him that she was going over a friends house. They never went to the house without one another. However she left the homework she was doing at the house, and needed or she would get behind on work. She didn't tell anyone where she went. Her friend had been on the phone with her boyfriend the whole time. Vlad tried to call her a few times but she didn;t pick up. not talking to her sent a chill up his spine. ALmost like the past was due to come once again. So he rushed home to tell his aunt. However once he got to the house he found what he had been looking for. His aunt was tied to her bed, legs- spread engle, and her mouth gapped. She was dead.

Vlad paniced, and searched the house four or five tiems over. Finding nothing. then he heard the faint moans of soeone crying out. It sounded soemthing like hs name. It came from the basement. A hidden one that he had not noticed in all his time here. He never pain attention to these house. He hated it. However he opened the door, and followed the moans to a small room. It was dark but the moans were close. However mixed in with them was slightly laughter, and groaning. Vlad got defensive, and rreached for the light. He flicked it on, and what he saw changed his view on the world for the rest of his life.

His sister. Silent, and beautiful renee was strapped to a wall with legs legs tied to the room. Hr legs spread wide open for all to see. Between them stood his uncle. Laughing as he raped her before his eyes. his body was frozen as he looked at Renee, who was crying, and calling his name. Telling him to stop. Blood covering her body.Vlad sprang into action, and ashed for the horrible man. He was smart though, and pulled a knife out, and held it to renee's neck. Stating that he would kill her if he didn;t stop, and watch. So for her safety he did.

it killed him to watch her in so much pain. Her tears flowing like a never ending waterfall as she locked eyes with him. He tried to hold back the tears but couldn't, and softly sopped as he was forced to watch. However his uncle soon finished, and left her there to hang. She had fallen unconsucius, and lay helpless. He laughed, and looked at her. Marveling on her body. Rubbing, and touching as he licked his lips. Vlad's eyes burned with hatred. At that moment he wanted to kill that man. Not just for renee or himself but for his aunt, and all those this man had been using.

Vlad hadn't noticed till then that around this room where vidoes, and pictures of him raping, and killing hundreds of young girls. Even one titled Renee, and Me. Vlad exploded with anger, and made his move. he charged, and tackled the man. he began to beat him with his bare hands but was stabbed in the chest. He fell back, and lay on the ground in his own blood. Looking directly up at Renee who hung above him. He cried.

His uncle left him there bleeding for twenty minutes while he prepared for the second round. However Vlad had a plan. He pulled the knife from his chest, and cut his sister down. She looked pale, and barely hung on to her life. She was bleeding badly, and had suffered more then Vlad would ever allow. He left the light on, and watched. His unlce came back down, and was shocked to find them both gone. He laughed out when he noticed Vald's trail of blood. He grinned, and followed. He walked up the stiars, and laughed. Calling out "Here Little Vlad. I'm not going to hurt you." He followed the set trail to his wives room where her bodystill lay. He ended at the closet. A place Vlad, and Renee had hidden many times. He sighed in victory, and pulled the door opem. Only to find it empty. Vlad yelled from behind, and as the Corrupted man turned around Vlad stabbed his in his shoulder, and pinned him down. He took a lamp, and continueul;y beat the man till he knocked him out.

He left him laying there, and called the plice. Come to find out the man had a bounty on his head, and Vlad was given the reward. However his Aunt was dead, and Renee was still in shock. She was taken to the hospital where she stayed till she recovered. Almost. She and Vlad moved from that house into a small apartment. Vlad finished school first, and took up a job as a bounty hunter. He trained with a few of his fathers old friends, and comrades, and then made his first, and only sword. Renesmee. Named after his sisters. he became a honered Bounty Hunter, and captured many men. All of them reminding him of his perverted uncle, and the sick things he did to Renee. She great happy, and finally opened herself to a man. Who is now her husband with two wonderful children. They live happyly on Rez.

Meeting the Captain: Vlad continued his work but never wanted a ship of his own. Then one day a beautiful women came to hi, and asked him if he really was the one called Vlad. he said yes, and she offered him a job. The pay was good, and the hours were long. However it would give him a chance to catch those he came to hate, and to search for his father, and sister. Even if those around him till them they are dead. He was head os security, and had his men working around the clock. He never rested while a job was to be done, and with an iro fist never allowed them to slack off. Perfection was key, and he expected nothing less then that.

Personality: Sense his past encounters with pure evil he now had one BIG rule. "No Room For Error." Across his office he has it. Anyone coming to see him had to read it beofre they even had a chance to enter. All his men know that, and for that they respect him. Also ecause he is a hard-a******, and doesn;t allow them to slack. He is ruthless on the job, and eroor means replacement due. Anyone that cannot fit the bill is not needed. On rule is that he doesn't allow them to date one another. Even if they are all alone in space sometimes with nothing to do but wait. They are to stay professional for as long as their shift is. Even when that shift is over Vlad will sometimes call a few in to help with added work.`He works all the time unless the Captain FORCES him to take needed rest. he has learned from his past, and will not allow any man to bribng harm to any women. Hurting a women before him is like asking for death. You just dont do it. However around the captain he is loose, and at ease. He respects her, and in many ways she reminds him of Renee. He will do anything the Captain needs of him, and would even give his life to protect her from harm. Even if she can handle it herself.

Bio:He was a normal everyday guy, goin to school, getting bad marks, nothing special. Infact he felt worthless.

When he turned 14 his parents decided to give him into a military academy. There he found out he wasnt normal. His physical abilities far outmached most of the people there, he never really tried though.

At the age of 18 he had graduated from the academy (with excelent marks of course), however he developed a psycological build that made him a killing machine when he was angry. When he had returned to his home the people there laughed at him for not being able to graduate from a normal school... and of course he got angry and killed them all.That episode in his life changed him... in a bad way. The goverment did not want to put him in jail and for that reason they just changed his name and made all of the files regarding his past top secret.

Meeting the Captain: The they put him on a ship with a captain named Alula Borealis. He didnt really care about anything there as long as he got to kill somebody. And even now hes still working on that ship under the name of Kaosu (a japanese pronounciation of the word chaos)

Personality: very cold, untalkative, unfreindly and very, very distant.

Everything in the Bio was pretty much just Bio stuff. If you need help on what I'm wanting there, look over my profiles and some of the other profiles that have already been accepted. Also, no, you don't have to create and control another character unless you want to.

Probably around about Friday. I'm worried because there aren't many positions taken up on the other ship. If they aren't taken by Friday, I'm may have to collaborate with my co-GM to create our own characters to fill those positions. I wanted to hold off until, at least, all officer positions were taken, but that doesn't appear to be happening. So, I'm waiting until Friday then I'll post the RPG and, soon after, the OOC thread.

To anyone who has already created an accepted character:
I would appreciate if anyone of you were willing to create another character to help me fill these empty seats. You aren't obligated to do this, but if worse comes to worse, and all these spots STILL aren't full by Friday, it would be a HUGE help to me and my Co-GM if you could contribute and control another character. I would be extremely grateful. But, again, you don't have to. And if you are already controlling 2 characters, I'm not really going to ask you. Two characters is already quite a bit of work. If you do want to help me with this, wait for a few days before you post the profile. I want to give it a little time, just in case some one else wants to join and just haven't posted yet.
