So i'm in a folk/punk band we are ver dedicated to our lyrics, i figured i would post some of them to see what you guys thought about them.

It's not really that long, seeing as there only seems to be 3-7 words per line. It's a good thing you poetry readers don't venture into fanfic, writing all the way to the end of the line would just be hell for your brains to process.

The lyrics are pretty good actually. Catchy, good rhyming, and pretty good flow. Though I won't click the myspace link for two reasons, one being I hate the site and two being I'm sure you've butchered the lyrics with screamo singing.

I never said that your comment was out of line. It was ignorant, and very assuming. And I'm sorry if you hate subgenres, but theirs millions of them out there regardless of how you feel about it. And why the hell would I want to complain to the mod about your comment? Honestly, regardless of how I feel it's your opinion, and I'm not that offended by it. I don't know how that makes me a newb, and I don't understand how stating my opinion is back seat modding either, and it's not like that comment really affects me in any way really.

It seems very rude that you assume that i would ruin my own lyrics. First off i dont scream them thats why i said FOLK/PUNK and not Screamo, second if i wanted to scream them they are my lyrics they belong to me no one else i can do what ever i want with them. Also if you click on the link and listen to one lil' three minet song i'm sure that myspace wont suck your soul from it mortal coil and lock you in the deepest pit of hell.

On one last note. sub-genres are very important these days. Expesially when it comes to Punk. Punk has been mixed into almost every genre that has come after it, and alot of the ones that came befor it. A person cant say that they listen to Punk and expect every one to know what they are in to. some people like pop-punk, others like street punk, some like me have a special place for all sub-genres and understand that you have to get strait to the point if you want people to understand what you like.

Wasn't trying to be rude. And yes, they are your lyrics and you can butcher/not butcher them as you like. I never said you couldn't, only that I preferred not to listen to them. Don't be so self-righteous. Again, I don't understand what folk punk is, nor do I care enough to google it. And I still believe that we can do away with all these subgenres. Why don't people just listen to some of the music you like to understand what you like rather than be aware and familiar with countless (and imo pointless) subgenres?

And btw, now I'm having trouble believing those are your lyrics based on the number of typos in your post. And double-posting is not allowed.

I thunk it would be best for you to edit your post and start a new thread for each song. Not a lot of people will try to sieve through all of that. I was even guilty of deserting it then i read the other posts and someone said they were good so i turned back and took the time to go through it. Honestly, they are really good. I would love to see others reading it though so maybe you could try what i suggested? Please?
