Another of my teasers i hope you like..

To loveless nights
and frightful dreams
do i surrender at ech touch of my pillow

to dull days
and thoughtless lies
do i regain conciousness and time.

Be still my heart
you beat too loud
yearning for much too much

lie calm my voice
speak not your claims
forever soundless remain

for on the day
when your heart sings
your voice will spill forth in chorus

your world will change
your night no longer remain
in the patterns of the days strains...

All I can say is wow. I really like this one, and I dare say it's one of my favorites. I think it's because the symbolism really speaks to me. Nice flow, structure, and word choice.

It was a good poem but not perfect. Sorry if I sound mean and yea it was good, but it is very hard to make me speechless. I mean hard, and that poem failed to accomplish it, but very good poem. Be proud.
