Snowing in Texas?
Well guys, snow seems be occuring in parts of Texas. I want to see other's opinions on this and ask if it's actually true. xD Who knows? California might have it too. At least I hope it will D:

We've had snow before here a few years ago, but I doubt it this year. It's not cold enough & there's not any broken windows of hail or snow.
Buy a snow blower. You'll need it.
It's not snowing in my area, that's for sure. But it is colder than usual. (Dallas)

My girlfriend said it was snowing quite hard in Victoria, where she lives, but it didn't settle I don't think.

(This from a Canadian, where there is snow and ice everywhere at the moment haha.)
But my girlfriend lives in Texas, and she did told me it was snowing there. >.>

Goddamn, the second time this topic has come up on my perusal of the inter webs.
Pro Tip: Snow is Uncommon in Texas, not rare or unheard of. It happens every couple years. Not many people appreciate it, but it does get pretty cold in the desert. In fact, the temperature is often around 50 at night even during the summer.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

Well, it used to be rare but not some much anymore do to climate change and such.
I know that I first experienced snow about the age of 6. My second was around the age of 12ish. And then after that it became more frequent (and weird). Hell, I think in the last two years Dallas has had snow during the Spring. And I don't recall any point in my life where it has snowed the week of Christmas.

I'm from Texas and it did snow on 2007 and 2006... and right now it's so damn cold, I'm typing with my gloves on...
Snowed where I live once. ONLY ONCE!!!! I go to moutains that snow for snowboarding. I highly doubt that snow can occur in Texas, I really didn't see any reports about that.

O_O for sure... I'm at the verry bottom of Texas, and yeah of course snow it's not 'that' common, but it DOES occour!we even made some snowman, but the next day they were gone =(

Of course, you do realize that changing the name of the concept doesn't change the concept, right? The name "Global Warming" is misleading because it's talking about average world temperature, NOT local temperatures which are what the peasants are concerned over. If you made the top and bottom quarters of the world 20 degrees warmer, and the middle half of the world 10 degrees cooler, you'd still have an average temperature increase of 10 degrees world wide. It's nowhere near that simple, of course but it illustrates the point.
