Mine would have to be Unholy War for the ps1. That game was so great for its time..Now it's forgotten.

When life gives you lemons, make grape juice, then sit back and let the world wonder how you did it.
Very much this. All-Stars was remakes before there were remakes, and I'm glad for it because I never owned an NES; it was a welcomed overdose of Italian mustache.
And I'm not sure if it's actually forgotten, but nobody talks about Mario Paint anymore. I pretty much have a musical staff burned into my vision from hours upon hours spent on the music function.

The Mechwarrior 4 series of games(Vengance, Black Knight, Mercenaries) aren't well known these-a-days, but were a helluva lot of fun.

Assault Suit Leynos (1990) (TARGET EARTH (U.S. MARKET)) for the SEGA MEGA DRIVE/SEGA GENESIS (1989)
Favorite forgotten game?
i'd say Parappa the Rappa, Bust a Groove on PS1 or SSX Tricky on PS2! they were awesome! but, for some reason, not many people i know have ever heard of or played Parappa or Bust a Groove...

No-one lives forever. T'was amazing. Especially since I'm a '60s TV nerd, and can appreciate the references to The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and other (in-game) contemporary TV.

There are no rules. They are just words on a piece of paper.
If this was best old game thread i would say Starcraft BUT as it is most "FORGOTTEN".
In that case i would chose Street Fighter and Mortal Combat the originals.
Old school 2d fist throwing was just wicked.
Destrega for the PS1.
I felt like the only kid in the world that had ever played it when I got it.
It was a pretty awesome fighter, hoping for a sequel.
Also, I feel Shadow Of The Colossus for the PS2 is a little forgotten, but not that forgotten.
Illusion of Gaia by enix for the snes.
月の光は愛のメッセージ
Phantasy star online for gamecube, they should really make a new one for ps3 so my cheap broke self can play online
