Hey there Little Birdie.

I got the inspiration from this poem from a nest. There is this really old nest in one of the trees near my house, and I decided to use it in my poem. I would like to dedicate it to all the young AF members out there. I hope this poem inspires them to continue through their goals, no matter how hard the path may get. I would appreciate comments on how to fix it, since I know it sounds ackward. But anyway, here it is.

Hey There Little Birdie

Hey there little birdie,
The time has finally come.
Now you have to spread your wings
And start your life along.

The first try you may not succeed,
The second time much more.
But each one of your different tries
Will help you reach your goal.

Just keep trying little birdie,
Don't give up on your goal.
Head for summer's paradise,
Down by the tropic's shore.

The nest is small and withering,
The weather has grown cold.
Hurry up and learn to fly,
Before winter comes home.

Congratulations little birdie,
For you have learned to fly.
Your home; your nest is finally gone,
It's time to say good-bye.

this being my fav stanza. i have to say i like this its nice stuff. cool dedication.

now this is what i'm talking about. no average business. 10/10 all the way. this is the poet i know. Sigma it was perfect. there is nothing to fix.

the awkwardness of the poem only adds to the mood of the reader. it helps to get out the feeling of the bird as it tries to get a foothold in life. this is what makes it perfect. sometimes we do stuff without meaning to and its what makes everything POP.

what i'm trying to get out of my rambling is that i just love it. plain and simple.
