My favorite French animation. Good show.
Though Cartoon Network stop showing, then they started showing it again, then they got rid of it, so I only got bits and pieces of the show.
And I was like, huh.
Cartoon Network made it severally hard to watch, and I was never ever able to see the ending.
So please leave ending and other spoilers like that in spoiler tags.

I really liked Code Lyoko, I've watched a lot of it on Youtube. =)
My favourite character was probably Odd. He was just so funny.
Ulrich was cool too. So, those are my top two, and then the rest of the gang are tied for third...
People who were asking what it's about: A group of kids find a supercomputer, and turn it on. Inside is a virtual world called Lyoko. On Lyoko is a girl named Aelita, who one of the people, Jeremy, the computer nerd, is trying to materialize, or bring to Earth.
Also on Lyoko is an evil virus named XANA, who is intent on leaving the computer, and taking over Earth. By activating towers, XANA can attack the real world (sometimes really ridiculous... Giant Teddy Bear...), and Aelita is the only one who can deactivate them. There are monsters trying to stop her, so Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi are virtualized into Lyoko to fight them.
That was a sucky summary, but it's the basic idea.
Just because it's French doesn't mean it's not an anime. I consider Code Lyoko and anime; not one of those ordinary, off the mill cartoons. That'd be like saying "Chinese anime, Korean anime, etc, etc isn't anime because it's not Japanese". Anime or 2D/3D, cartoons are 1D. That's my definition of anime.
You also left out:
They usually flee to the supercomputer when they see something out of whack, or if Aelita called for them; usually it's something out of whack. After they go to Lyoko and deactivate the towers, they scan themselves back into reality. First, Jeremy is the only one that can reset time, per say. [Kind of reverses time before the attack to make things better].
However, he eventually gives everyone a manual to the computer in case "something ever happens to him". Jeremy was once materialized into Lyoko, I believe. I forgot why...maybe it was when he couldn't get a hold of anyone, hm...

I have seen Code Lyoko a few times and the show does not interest me. My brother likes the show though and he said it was good.

It was...okay. Bit weird really, not that anime isn't weird sometimes. I didn't much like the style (huge heads o.O), but the storyline is fresh, though the characters could use a bit more depth. The graphics were okay I suppose. All around a mediocre anime.

Aside from the ENORMOUS foreheads.. the story was pretty awesome.
The romance between some of the characters kinda bothered me.
It was really lame. XD
But yeah, like I said.. the story was interesting.
I guess it never occurred to youthat you might actually have to bleed.
