Sticky keyboard

Is your keyboard sticky? What have you spilled in your keyboard?

I have spilled this into my current keyboard:

• Noodle soup.
• Milk.
• Beer.
• Cookie crumbs.

I'm gonna buy a new one soon. The keys of this one barely work. I have to hammer some keys so hard it's really frustrating to type. Also, it smells really foul, like stale beer.

I've spilled soda a few times, nothing serious. However, my Page Up and Home keys occasionally have something under them, and it's driving me insane. I'm not sure If I can just pry the keys on this keyboard out either, as it is a labtop.

I have something that moves around under the 9,0,-,o,p,[,l,;,'-keys. One of them typically doesn't work. So then I shake the keyboard, and then it's one of the other keys that won't work.

* A few scraps from dinners.
* Cookies crumbs as well.

Probably some other things too...
I clean it off as best as possible though.

My keyboard isn't sticky but I have spilled water and crumbs (of stuff) on it.

But I have more dust and hair in there than anything else. >_< Actually, it's pretty clean right now, cause I just cleaned it. ^^

i have never spilled on my keyboard. i try to be as careful as ever if i'm gonna bring food with me in front of the PC. maybe i would spill something in the future xD

I've never spilled liquid on my keyboard, but I'm scared to hold it upside down for fear of all the crumbs that might come out.

In the past on my old computer, I spilled tomato soup. That wasn't pretty.

On my current computers, I haven't spilled anything yet, I keep them pretty clean, so i'm lucky for the time being, hah.

Crumbs and dust are the only thing that have been in my keyboard for years. Cat hair used to be there too back when I lived with my parents. The only time that something has been actually spilled on my keyboard wasn't even my fault as someone was looking at my monitor and spilled coffee on it because they weren't paying attention.

My sister spilled half a 2 liter bottle of grape juice on it, and as this is a laptop it promptly died. I had to have a friend clean it out to fix it. ;__;

Other than that, I've gotten milk, crumbs, dust, hair, and probably pizza at some point.

• Cigarette Ashes (for my dad doesn't know how to put down his cigarette when pecking...)
• Snot (and dad blows his nose in the air where ever he pleases...which is gross)

If you have a desktop, all you have to do is take out all the screws from the keyboard and take the plastic like cover over the nobs, run soap and water over it, wash it off, then dry it, or let it sit in front of a fan for about 15 minutes, then put the keyboard back together. I've had to do that several times...

* probably some kind of soup or stew at some point
* pieces of shredded cheese

This thing, as with all of our keyboards have in the past, has seen and devoured almost everything we have. And yes. My keys stick often. My backspace gives me hell. Which stinks because I make a lot of mistakes and have to use it a lot. It sucks when I'm writing something like a chapter to my story or something else that's important to me and I hit the backspace once and it backs up and deletes a whole sentence! Sometimes even more! >_<

Hehe, I sort of had that interpretation in mind when I set the title. Though it really started as a thread about sticky keyboards, since I just spilled half a pint of lager on my keyboard...

I have spilled water and crumbs on it, and I occassionally don't have time to cover my nose since I'm typing. But fortunately it isn't sticky, nor does it have things jammed underneath the keys. (For now, anyway)

I have sweaty palms. Though I've never really spilled anything on my keyboard, the cumulative effect of me type type typing away at it for a year and a half now must be the same as if I had poured about a beaker full of perspiration on it.
