For me, the death of Jiraiya was the saddest scene. You know ,the part when he remembers about Pein of the past before fighting him, and when he's about to die he remembers about the parents of Naruto and Naruto in the past...finally disappearing in the depths of the ocean. Jiraiya's death was a truly fitting and a sad one.

But for the ones that you listed i am pretty much tied between Jiraiya and Third Hokage.Those scenes just made me damn cry! :S
I guess I'll go with Jiraiya it came out as a win when i rolled the dice lol

Well, sorry man for not including Zabuza in the polls. Yes, his death was also one of the first saddest scene in the Naruto series..."Zabuza and Haku"....the background music also well-supported the scene. I wonder what kind of music will be played for Jiraiya's death scene.

As for Orochimaru, his death scene was also kinda sad for a villian. You know ... the part when he had just come out of Sasuke in a very big and dramatic style only to be finished off by Itachi in one swift move ...really sad indeed ....

Itachi's is the saddest! Killed by his own litthe brother whom be always protected.. Ironic isn't it? I hope Sasuke is the one who's dead, not Itachi, really..

Ironic indeed but yet again Itachi served his purpose, and he did it very well!!! His death wasn't in vain.

I cried in two deaths : Jiraya's and Zabuza's, but it would the saddest if Kakashi'd die. Although Itachi's death is the most ... ironic and sad. To be dead out of love for you little brother BY your little brother, pretending not to care about him 'till the end... That's really tough.. ;[[

i was most sad after reading about kakashi but i did not know Itachi was dead for like 20 chapters

Jiraiya's hands down. His death was fitting and sad, it was a perfect death for him. I enjoyed his thoughts at the end very much.

Now, Kakashi's death made me the most sad, not only because Kakashi is my favorite character, but because it SUCKED. I wonder how they'll do it in the anime... :/
