I mean things like Broad shoulders, barrel chests, square jaws, bulk muscle, body hair, man hands, heavy brows, large bones/wrists, and deep set eyes.

Particularily amongst the modern anime watching crowd influenced by Bishounen, though there also is/was the metro movement.

I prefer male characters that actual look like guys. The occasional pretty boy is fine but I want more men too. Too many bishounen these days for my taste.


Oh, and to answer the last part, I'm from America. Dunno whether that has anything to do with my answer at all (kind of doubt it, most of the people I know around here prefer girly boys.)
