[Anime Forum]

Yes I do know this was discussed already but I have a good idea for it. Why not make a Forum Games section, like the intro section/mic section/fan art section/etc. I know you think it will be spammed so I thought of a good idea for it. I know there is a way to make a forum section worth 0 posts and points when you post on it. I don't know how to make a section worth 0 posts when you post on it but I have seen that on other forums and I know that it works. If each post is worth 0 posts/0 points how would spamming be an issue? A few games on it would be ban the user above you/your opinion of the user above you/how long did you sleep last night/etc. So is this possible to try out and if it fails you can close the section.

Mainly it's still spam. Plus, it looks dirty in a forum. I am no important AF member, but I'd hate to see FORUM GAMES everytime I click on New Posts.

Is there a way to turn that action off on that section of the forum so when there are new posts on the Forum Games section, it will not appear in the new posts part of the forums. If a member wants to see the new posts in tat section, they must go to the Forum Games section manually and see if there are any new posts on there own.

I like this idea. Its not in anyway spam, yet it is appearantly hard to keep track of on misc. But if we have a forum dedicated to it, this really wouldnt be a problem

We'd still need someone to check it for profanity, and that would just be hell to moderate @__@

It can't be worse than Misc. can it? You get the member that thinks that s___ is a PG word.

Actually making it like Pay 2 Post wouldn't be terrible, but there is no AF member that doesn't have anything better to do than mod that much.

You were not here to remember SOTM (Song of the Moment) ...but that's a perfect example to how it really couldn't be controlled. Sure the point was to post the name of the song and move on, that wasn't the case we would stay there and talk about day, school etc. I didn't play SOTM much, but I did post often in BNG (Band Name Game) and it was the same way there. Regardless the purpose of the game, the fact is that there can't be someone to moderate it..all of it and all of the multiple threads with SOTM we only had one thread going at the time, just imagine an entire FORUM. If you're curious how bad it was look at the Top Statistics, most viewed/most replies and read some on the threads >.> (there is talk of rape and such) don't get me wrong I love the forum games idea but, the truth is they are really not the best idea. At least SOTM and BNG were limited to music. I'd think for the new "forum games" sub-forum would be like Misc on crack.

no. For all reasons stated. It would be hell to moderate, I don't have anyone with that much time, and its a forum for Spam, which we try to discourage at all costs.
