And today during school I skipped to my friends lunch and
he told me about the recent stuff happening in the Naruto manga.
The thing is, I haven't had time to keep up with ANY manga or anime.
Shippuden = I stopped at the zombie episodes. D:
He just grabbed me and
"KAKASHI DIES!"
RIGHT in my face.
I was soooo sad.
I've been like, in love with him for atleast 4 years.

I was almost pushed to tears.

Well, my friend said that he died because Pein took a nail from a board and hit kakashi in the forehead or something and he died.
But maybe I should've looked up some info before I posted this thread because I googled it, and everyone is saying that his death isn't official yet.
The next chapter has to come out for everyone to know FOR SURE.

Yeah i know Itachi dies. I heard about that from my friend as well. But then again i stopped watching Naruot since it got boring since Sasuke left. I only watch it on TV the only anime i really watch (since i never have time) online is those that haven't come out on TV.

Let me clear some things up.

Kakashi was fighting Pain, who can pretty much control his own gravitional force, and repel and attract anything around him. After wailing on Kakashi and Chouji's father, he rendered both immoble. Kakashi was pretty drained of Chakra. Pain sent a nail flying at Kakashi's head, that WOULD have killed him, but he used his mangekyou at the last second to save himself. At this point, he was pretty much out of chakra, in a really bad position.

He and Chouji's father told Chouji to go report Pain's abilities to the Hokage, and sent him off running. One of Pain's clone-things sent a rocket after Chouji, which was have easily killed him. Kakashi, with the last of his chakra, chose to use his Mangekyou once more, using up all of his chakra, to make the rocket disappear and save Chouji. It worked, and Kakashi died due to chakra exhaustion...the same thing that happened with Itachi.

AAAHH!!! NO! Kakashi CAN:T DIE!!!! NOOO!!! My friend told me this as well, but I don't want him to die! He's like one of the best characters . . . no, he is the best character. AAHH!!! He can't die! If Kakashi dies then i will go to Japan and smack Kishimoto a couple of times, see what he does to Kakashi then. If Kakashi dies, the whole series dies with it. Gah! WHY!!?!?!?! =( Kakashi. . . waahh! (cries into so many buckets that it keeps the world filled with water for more than 20 years)

I for one am glad that Kakashi is dead. It shows that Kishimoto is actually a good writer who isn't afraid to write out a character, and isn't going to be as generic as so many other long-running shounen manga-ka out there.

Also, if there is one weak point to Naruto, it's the weak characters. Which is why I hate irrational fans who scream and go crazy over them. The strong point of Naruto is, and always has been, writing, and Kishimoto's ability to throw in surprises at the last second.

It is things like this that actually make Naruto good, but I suppose the half-wit fans would never think of that, would you?

sure, I think about it. I think that it's great that he can do that to keep the story going and all at such a great pace with the writing, but it doesn't mean that doesn't make it any better. If a character dies then it still makes an impact on reader who care about the story inside the plot. If that makes sense to anyone besides me. (sniff)

According to her, he was on the verge of death at the end of the chapter. Is there another chapter that she hasn't read yet? She said that the "new chapter" wasn't coming out for another few weeks. Was there another chapter that was released?

Yeah, that's what I read also. Kakashi was ABOUT to die, but the chapter ends like that. Oh well, let's just wait for Friday, when the next chapter comes out. :]
