What's up with HTML code in my post when I try to edit it or quote someone?

I quickly post something, then realize i forgot some insignificant punctuation; i press the Edit button on my post and i get to the posting page. Now, in my text, crap like </B>, ;;quot| <color=gay periwinkle>, and appears. Sometimes they disappear when the page gets progressively loaded, but most of the times they don't. This didn't use to happen before. I hate it, it severely affects my post-reaction time and i can't wait five minutes for it to finish loading the whole page. Also, i doesn't doesn't allow paragraph separation anymore, like when i press Return to start a new paragraph, it, instead attaches it to the last paragraph, like a continuous phrase. ALSO, all the text, align, color, hyperlink buttons don't work!!! ----------- This is testing to show how stuff appears when i:

Some of that is script. I'd presume it's script from the coding on the edit box. As to why you're getting it, maybe they're updating the forums or something like that. You should try reposting what you got in code boxes. likeeee [*code] and etc without the*

Does it happen all the time now, or just occasionally?

This used to happen to me as well though it seems to come from a confusion of modes when you edit your posts. There's the mix of codes from both HTML and WYSIWYG modes. Usually results from a slow connection or if you switch between the edit modes too fast.

Yeah, it comes up occasionally, but not depending on slow my connection gets. It just comes up from time to time. Apparently it doesn't, today. I just re-installed Windows due to a severe virus attack. I don't think it's been affecting the way Firefox loads the pages, but it was making my day a Gehena, yesterday.
