Sailor Mars Vs. Sailor Jupiter

Haven't seen a versus thread around here in such a long time, and this place needs some spicing up, so how about one? The fiery Sailor Mars and the electrifying Sailor Jupiter have it out. We'll all debate who would win in the end and make sure you have good reasoning to support your opinion. Sound good eh?

Right now Im not quite sure who would win in a fight between these two. They're both darn powerful and tough warriors, the two toughest inner senshi for sure (besides Moon).

I would have to disagree. Sailor Mars's grandpa trained her from an early age, so she should have the advantage. I'm not an expert on this show though, so I may be wrong. She is, however hotter than Jupiter.

I think Jupiter would win. She's trained in martial arts (Right?), and she has a reach advantage. Not to mention some pretty darn cool special attacks.

I think the power of their attack effects are both relatively similar. Both would probably do an equal amount of damage, but I guess it really depends on which one you personally prefer.

Sailor Mars definitely! She has spiritual powers, and I'm a firm believer in mental strength over physical.

And the fact that she can use fire is really exciting!

Idk lol I really like both of them as sailor scouts and they both have ausome attacks I always thought they were the stronger scouts. If I had to choose I think that it would be sailor mars she has spiritual powers and has been training along time.

This would be a very interesting match, but I would have to give it to Sailor Jupiter. She is the strongest inner senshi, and though Rei has been trained in martial arts because of her grandfather, Makoto is the only one that ever tries to actually use fists first, instead of her powers. Rei also is rather skiddish compared to Makoto, and though she acts tough on the outside, she can be just as scared on the inside as Usagi.

I'd like to see Mars beat Jupiter. I like how she has psychic powers and fire powers. Great combination.

My opinion, sailor jupiter, even though their powers are like the same, Sailor Mars looks like the type who would give mercy to someone. they're both tough, so it would be a very interesting fight.

Jupiter most definitely- she seems much more evenly balanced; i.e.- she isn't just trained in one element attacks like Mars is.

It would be a very close fight, though I'd have to say Sailor Mars would come out onto in the end. The only reason I say that is because she has a temper and that tends to help when fighting someone. She also has better form with her moves so with that said. She would be able to over power Jupiter given the time. However it's still hard to say.

No question for me on this one, Jupiter would essentially thrash Mars in just about every combat situation. She is physically stronger, has a greater reach due to her height and appears to be able to take much more punishment.

Power wise, although they are similar, it is universally considered by the writers of the anime, and alluded at by Naoko, that Jupiter's powers are more powerful in a purely destructive sense.

Mars would win, there's one key thing that you're all forgetting. Monsters with massive brute strength and speed have charged Mars before all she has to do is avoid them long enough to stun them with her spiritual ability "Akuryō Taisan!"
She could do the same to Jupi and then turn around and fry her to a crisp.
Plus I think Mars is much more strategic than Jupi, Makoto just relies too much on brute physical strength, I think Mars would play on that in order to defeat her.

It really depends on how they battle to each other. The most important in battling is using your mind. By using some techniques and such. So i don't know who would ever win.
